There is a nice atmosphere and the reception staff is quite friendly. The food supplied by the restaurant is plentiful and quite tasty. The rooms are clean and classy. There is no really weak point; possibly the location next to a highway is not really appropriate but although the window in the room accessed the highway, we did not hear any traffic when the window was closed. Another little mishap. When we first checked in we had asked specifically for a non smoking room and my wife had problem with her knee we also requested a room with lift access; instead the employee provided a room with in a smoking section and with steps. We protested and we finally got a room in a non smoking area and with easy lift access. Also the same employee did not direct us appropriately to do some shopping in Dubai

I don't like the deposit amount, they let me keep 2000 ADhs as a deposit in case I missuse or eat any thing from the minibar.

great value through agoda the rooms are very good above all you can sleep easy there is no noise pullation with exception of hotels linked bars and resaurants for every where else you need a taxi a very pleassnt stay the hotel is one of the better hotels in dubai good value for money will stay there agin. staff very excellent.

all staff were brilliant, bed was hard but quite comfy, room and bathroom were clean, complimentary fruit platter was a nice surprise, the pool was a bit hard to find, but it's a nice pool and has a swim-up bar. super expensive cable internet in room,

The staff were fantastic! There is a nice feel to the hotel, pianist in the bar in the evening, candles and flowers etc. In my room, the bed was very firm but still comfortable and the pillows were OK too... the bathroom was totally fine.
There are only two things I didn't like about this hotel. Firstly; and most importantly for me, the INTERNET in the room was ridiculously EXPENSIVE. To put it in perspective, they wanted to charge another $35 per day if i wanted to have cable internet in my room and if you only wanted it for one hour it was $17.50. I'd just come from Egypt and even the tackiest hostels usually had free wifi, so I really felt like this was a huge ripoff! The other thing I didn't like was that the hotel is a bit out of the way... there is nothing within walking distance, however, there are two free shuttle destinations - the beach/sister hotel and the emirates mall.
Hotel Feature Tip : An added bonus to staying at this hotel is that they have a free shuttle bus that will take you to their sister hotel (Harbtour???/something like that) and this is a really fantastic hotel, right on the beach. You can use all the facilities and the pool is great... there's even a waterslide for the kids (i'm not sure if they charge for that though). I wish I would have had more time to stay there and relax in the pool or swim at the beach.

Location, bars, music and the staff Have stayed in this hotel many times, but over the last two to 3 years, it has become very expensive. I have only just gone back there as the price has come way down. Just now it is great value for money. They have great food in the dinning room, outside and also in the bar.
Rooms are of a high standard and clean.
Location is great for almost any part of Dubai and is only 15 to 20 mins from the airport.

Centrally Located, Very well situated for entertainment, shopping, eating places etc. Some rooms specially the ones facing the Atrium do not get natural light. bit of letdown. The hotel is located in the heart of Dubai on Shk. Zayed Road. It has good ambience and nice restaurents and Bars. Don Corleonethe italian restaurent is good. In the vicinity of the hotel there are great Shopping, Eating and entertainment places.

Close to airport, in a good location, good night life. My room had a view of the hotel interior. The best thing about this hotel was the staff, when we requested items sent to the room they arrived fast, security was very professional and very helpful for guests who had spent the night at the hotel bar.

Best service especially staffs.All staffs are very kind,friendly Breakfast and Thai restaurant - food is too salty This is the 1st time I came to Dubai.Everything is quite new and interesting : nice city,big malls...Before coming there I thought that hotel will be same as others in all over the world.But I made mistake abt that ,your hotel is quite special compare with other.The special does not come from the architecture,food,room or price but wonderfully it comes from your staffs!!!Your staffs gave us a warm feeling ,it only happen among relatives.We can feel that.In a strange country but we did not feel lonely.This feeling is quite new although we traveled some other countries before.Thank you so much for your kind heart.Your staffs have brought us a new thinking abt staying in hotel!It's absolutely professional!

Comfortable and attractive rooms, friendly and welcoming hotel very well located, close to the beautiful beach of Jumeira beach park, a free shuttle walk the beach, airport and malls is expected No terrace or balcony from the room ... and the shuttle does not go quite regularly only 3 times a day ... which is not bad ... I spent more that your stay at the Metropolitan Hotel in Dubai. Located on Sheikh Zayed Road, near the famous Emirates Mall (the mall surprising that houses a ski ... spectacular!) And not far from the beautiful beach of fine sand and clear water of Jumeirah beach park! The staff is very friendly and pleasant! The rooms are more than comfortable, and the little Italian restaurant is particularly nice and somewhat expensive option (there is also a Thai restaurant and an Indian restaurant). In short it is more that interressant value for money offered by the Metropolitan Hotel! I'll be back!
Nightlife Tip : For revelers, it must go towards the Dubai Marina (not to be confused with Dubai Marina, which is also a very nice place, but most go to dinner with view on the splendid ships and Buldings), "boudoir" is a particularly sympathetic discotheques!
