very good overall. good location , although not directly on the beach. has no night club on site so thats a downside, although sports bar is very good. would recommend to others if you book early an dget a good price.

Myself and a group of friends stayed at Moevenpick for two nights as a stopover back to Australia. Every staff member was friendly and the food in the restaurants was excellent. Pool area was great and there were plenty of sunbeds available. Overall an awesome stay and we will recommend this hotel to others.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Grab a normal Dubai taxi instead of the more luxury cars if you want to save money getting around Dubai.

Great hotel, with excellent spa facilities

If you're planning on a Dubai stopover or are on business, then staying at Moevenpick is really worthwhile. I upgraded to an Executive Room when I arrived, it was worth the upgrade. The spa facilities were excellent - the Jetlager treatment is so relaxing, and I felt very refreshed to make my journey onwards. The staff were friendly and the 4x4 driving tour is great too.

large, but very nice hotel with a waterfront location in jumeira beach resort area. comfortable rooms and helpful staff made my short stay very enjoyable. food at the hotel is very good, especially breakfast, and if you fanncy somthing different there are lots of restaurants and shops close by. this was my second stay at this hotel and i wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. everything was excellent.
Restaurant Tip:
Great choice of reasonably priced places to eat along the promenade strip in front of the hotel.

the area around the hotel was great to look around

My husband and I stayed there for a night, and while the services were great, it was a bit shocking to find the drainage system in the shower stall not working well because we found the bathroom floor wet with water the next morning. We had to use the towels to cover the floor so we could walk without getting our feet unnecessarily wet.
Breakfast at the executive lounge was lovely, and light.

beautiful hotel, i think it is pretty newly built. the room was beautiful as was the pool area. there are plenty of cafes, shops and restaurants close by. it is not on the beach, but is only across the street however if you are looking for a beach holiday i would recommend elsewhere. we were only in dubai for two nights and exploring the city so it was perfect for us. the price is great for dubai, where you cannot usually find anything decent for less than us per night! staff were very nice, all in all a great little hotel.

We are from Abu Dhabi and wanted to go to Dubai for a weekend getaway. We love the location of this hotel, as it is right on JBR. Overall, very convinient.
But this time, we were quite dissappointed (compared to Sofitel next door). Rooms are small, and the wifi/internet is not included, so you pay extra. Breakfast was also extra. and When we requested for a Buck of Ice, it took 45 minutes, and I had to call 2x to remind them. Eventually, I cancelled the order. If you pay slightly more, I would rather stay at Sofitel within the same street.

Nice Hotel with friendly staff, but need to wait for 5hrs for checkin (6am-11am) without offering of any drinks or food. Rooms are well decorated and service was good. very close to Jumeirah Beach, just 300m opposite of the hotel
