This is a great choice for a stop over in Dubai. It's in the town and close to the metro but also only 10-15 minutes from the airport. Rooms are great and breakfast is fantastic. Pool area and gym are nice also. My only gripe is the charged internet. Fails in the business category due to this.

great clean rooms, friendly staff. staff very helpful with taxi service. close to metro lines and great shopping. only minutes from the airport. room decor was excellent, everything looked to be new. room service was available for 24 hours a day. no lounge so there was no loud music to keep you awake at night.

Always a pleasure to stay in one of the Rotana hotels. Always great service and professional support whatever you need. This hotel in Deira is perfectly located. Unfortunately it is a dry hotel. So don't forget to bring your own drinks to you room.

One of the best 4 star hotel/apartments in the Deira Dubai area. I have stayed here numerous times and I am never disappointed in the friendliness of the staff or quality of the accomodations.
Great staff, great service.
My only problem with this hotel is it's location just off Al Muraqqabat street. It is not a taxi friendly location for pickup, and it is still difficult to get a taxi from the street, because of it's lack of pulling over space.

I stayed again at the Rimal Rotana in early February 2012, and was once again impressed at the standard of accommodation and the helpfulness of the staff. I visit Dubai regularly, and find that this hotel provides everything that I require, and at a reasonable price.

I arrived at around 8am, and was quite impressed with the hotel for allowing me to have breakfast while they prepared my room - so glad I advised them I would be requiring an early checkin! My room had all the creature comforts I required, and was well presented and maintained.
The hotel is only about a 5 minute walk from Al Rigga metro station, so the location was pretty good, I felt very comfortable walking alone even in the evenings. While it faces a fairly busy road, as it is set back, there was no traffic noise at all.
