Comfortable beds, safe in room, chocolate covered dates.
Unremarkable, lacks character.
Perfectly pleasant if unremarkable. Desk staff efficient. Breakfast varied, coffee shop very expensive. Staff very eager to help, tea and coffee in room. Ten minute walk to gold souk and 24 hour supermarket virtually next door. Shame no quiet outside space. Perhaps could do a deal with the Carleton Hotel next door and use their pool. Might stay there again but would prefer the Radisson!
Restaurant Tip : The Daniel restaurant at the nearby shopping tower is good value and tasty.

The location is good, rooms are clean and the breakfast is really good!
The whole hotel is quite outdated and has seen the best of time. Beach towels are like rags.
This hotel is really fine considering the hotel prices in Dubai. The location is really good and the breakfast is really wonderful-this offers a variety of nternational food. Dinner restaurant is not really that good, service is very slow and the food is average.
It is quite a pity that the hotel does not offer a swimming pool, instead they offer transport to public beaches and pick-up the guests early in the afternoon - too short!
Regarding the staff, I would say - they are not too friendly but to be fair, nor unfriendly. An unpleasant incident occurs already upon arrival. Coming from Germany, (all international flights come in unholy hours) about 2:00 a.m., the reception kept on asking if we have already arranged a sightseeing tour for the next day. If not, he would book us for a tour the next day (which was then in a few hours). He tried to be persistent, I guess he gets commission on this.
On the overall, the staff are quite non-committal to the guests. This definitely does not encourage you as a guest to ask for assistance.
All in all, if you try to weigh the pros and cons, we can say, we can really recommend this hotel. The price is fair and the value is good!
Restaurant Tip : Considering the high prices in Dubai, eating out is also quite expensive. There is a buffet restaurant, I think at the 4th Floor of the Rolex Twin Tower (so the locals call it) which offers a good buffet local and international for If I remember right - something like euro 13.--/person

Many food on Buffets line and delicious with nice service
Too many taxi driver doesn't know this hotels on the business card hotel doesn't have the map at back.
This hotel has delicious food and varities kind of food. The staffs have the nice service. The room was clean after they clean the room they will put the candy on the table. I like it. The location has a little problem, difficults for taxi driver who doesn't know this hotel and no parking point in front of hotel.

Front desk folks efficient and helpful.
Sad , tired rooms. Location just average at best. Getting a taxi in the evening is a nightmare.
This hotel for budget traveler is acceptable. Rooms are tired, peeling wall paper, air con a bit smelly. Old, tired and stained furniture and mattresses on beds that probably enjoy a zero rating from any Orthopedic Association.
At the rate that I paid, I really think the value is not there. Certainly I had no issues with the staff, their friendliness or efficiency but if your a business traveler and in town for a few nights then I would not recommend this hotel unless you really can get a bargain rate.
Hotel Feature Tip : Pre-book all taxis....

I regret that I did not tip the porter. He did his best for me. Anyhow, the room is clean, and the amenity goods are sufficient.
Internet access should be free.
The locatioon is good for sightseeing of souk and downtown. Then gold souk and the spice souk are not so far, you can get there by walking. The 24 hours supermarket is nere here. (It takes just 1 minute in the north direction). From the souk side, you can see the parking building and some hotels.

Last year I enjoyed my stay in a room with a view on the Creek side and this year I enjoyed my stay in a room on the Souk side. The hotel is situated near the Souk in old Deira and a short taxi ride from the airport. Although fully booked, the hotel floor was very quiet. If I have to travel to Dubai again in future, I will use this hotel again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Watching the many boats and activities in and near the busy Creek. Mingling into the busy streets of the Souk in old Deira. Very close to a busstop of the sightseeing doubledecker.

Built in 1964, hotel is undergoing refurbishment and would need to still maintain a competitive rate in the future
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Right opposite the Big Bus tour route bus stop, close to the Creek and river cruises too, handy to airport - 30 minutes by Taxi, not bad considering Dubai traffic.

Dubai Port and are close to the spacious interior hotelap right next to the other side of the road can see the sea in Dubai. Employees of the service is pretty good ...
Called upstairs to work under construction was upset about a lot of noise. To use the Internet to pay and was uncomfortable. So, wireless Internet access for free at other hotels to open the lines were used. The Internet is the trend these days to free supply malyida.
A dozen staff and services in terms of hotel rooms under construction called good or bad a lot of noise, did not use the Internet in terms of the euro during business travel causes additional costs in terms of which were not good.
