I was pleasantly suprised with the hotel. There is also free breakfast provided in the morning.

• Hotel Feature Tip : Getting to the hotel can be a pain in the butt. No taxi knows how to get to the hotel and if they get you to a Swati, it is the wrong Swati hotel. Make sure you don't get dropped off at the Swati Deluxe Hotel. That is not the right hotel.

We stayed there for a week - good experience all around. We loved the shopping in the Indian neighborhood - friendly, funky, and affordable. Internet cafes, laundry, etc. nearby. They recharged our cellphone at the desk; helped us secure taxis and limos. The breakfast buffet has an Indian feel. The hotel is closer to the main attractions in Dubai than most other lower cost hotels.

The reception gives Internet-booked guests the worst rooms but you have to be strong with them and don't accept a room on the 2nd floor or you will not sleep because of the night club noises. Check the room before checking in, some rooms really smell bad, and if the reception tells you they don't have other rooms, don't believe them and ask for the director. We checked-in at 2 pm and they charged us for an extra bed, when we returned at midnight, we didn't find that extra bed in our room. The parking is very defficult to find and they don't even have a map to indicate how to get to it. There is a lot of street work just in front of the hotel, so if you come with a car, it's miserable.
