Better than I expected

unexpectedly had to extend my trip to dubai 2nights because i missed my flight to london. had stayed out in al barsha six nights already and wanted something closer to the airport but still in bur dubai at a good price. read the reviews of savoy central and figured i would give it a go.
check-in was prolonged but was given free in-room wifi to make up for the delay. since i was in dubai on biz that more than made up for the wait. wifi was good, didn't have to keep logging in everytime i got back on which was a problem elsewhere. the staff were very helpful and friendly. the room was surprisingly quiet for being on a road that is active at night. can't comment on the food as i went to the market down the street.
the rooftop pool was great and had wifi so i could work and relax at the same time.

Stayed there for one week. Very pleasant stay except traffic noise for rooms facing the main road. Also no black out curtains on window. Good value for money hotel.

Strongly recommend this hotel.

lovely well-maintained hotel in bur dubai. we stayed at the hotel for 5 days and had a great time. we liked using the free pc facilities at the lobby i could also use my phone to access the wifi in the lobby and pool area. the swimming pool was great to use as it was mostly empty during the day at the time of our visit in december. the location is ideal with 10 minutes walk to the metro station and right next door to baker mohebi supermarket. my only con was that the rooms could do with an update especially the bathroom and kitchen area within the cupboards and some of the pots and pans, although everything was clean. would definitely recommend and stay again.

Nice and Clean Hotel. Convenient Location. Five minutes walk to either Al Fahidi Metro station or Meena Bazar. Even grocery shop and 24x7 shopping centre closely.

Decent location but older property

Property has recently has changed management . Staff is a plus, very much looking to please. Property is older and in need of some updates but could be a value stay depending on pricing.
