i have visited dubai many times, and at traders, the staff and service was by far the best i have experienced in dubai.
food was rather bland and the room was average, but internet was very smooth and fast. too bad you do not have wifi in the rooms. it would have made the stay better as i had to go to the lobby repeatedly for the smartphone.
lastly, it would be good to telecast football in the pub.
once again, the service attitude and staff made up for all the minus points.

Good hotel and good service

i stayed 3 days but it took 2 days for the it guy to response to the internet connection in my room...hotel staff called to check on the internet, i told him not require anymore but there was another guy kept knocking at the door non-stop at 2230hr despite "do not disturb" sign was switched on until i have to wake up & told him not necessary anymore as i was checking out the next day early in the morning.
Hotel Feature Tip:
i like to stay in this hotel and will not mind to stay again...

Excellent and friendly setvice

I upgraded to club floor, it was so convenient to pop in and take advantage of the club facilities. The breakfast in the main restaurant had more on offer than in the club lounge. The late check-out was useful as my flight was later in the day.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Being so close to a metro station was very convenient

in deira if you need to be - if not dont stay in deira - traffic

initially booking from Agoda could not be found, but they were friendly and co-operative so got it all sorted next day with no fuzz.
Internet included is major bonus

Wonderful steam bath rooms and health centre.

A good standard hotel.

I go through Dubai for business on a regular basis. Trader's is a solid hotel for overnighting, not too far from the airport, friendly staff, nice pub with music, comfortable beds and adequate television stations. Because my stays are generally brief, I appreciate the internet availability in the room and quick-in and quick-out. Good hotel.

Stylish hotel, good service, good location
Modest-sized but stylish and well appointed rooms, close to airport (but little else)

Traders is great for a short stop-over between flights. Rooms are a modest size, but fine, and stylish. It's only a 10 min trip to the airport. And although just a few steps from the metro, it is quite a long way from anything else, so not really recommended if you want to be hitting the shopping malls or beaches.

Had a great time. Wish we could have stayed longer. Great value for money. Staff more than willing to do all they can to make your stay as good as it possibly can be. Highly reccomend

i made a mistake of booking another hotel and just had to run back to trader's hotel. the price are always reasonable year round and the hotel is quite nice. the staff have np problems letting in visitors as opposed to other hotels. i know for some, that is important. trader's all the way!
