Good location - near al rigga metro, very convenient

Our stay at the versailles has been pleasant. It is near the al rigga metro which makes travelling in the city so convenient. The space in the room is comfortable enough for two. However, the hotel management should consider looking into the lighting and the colour scheme of the room. It is rather dim and has a gloomy look. The flag to celebrate UAE spirit of the union should not be placed outside of the room's window. It sort of blocked the view.
Shopping Tip:
the al rigga metro line covers all the malls in Dubai. Had a good time checking out each and everyone of them.

more budget hotel set back from main street, but within walking distance of cafes, fast food and good restaurants.
metro 10mins walk.
Deluxe room was comfortable, but be aware of nite club noise from within hotel,
No free drinking water provided. and wi fi was chargeable.
Breakfast was fair, nothing exceptional.

we were given three rooms on the 3rd floor, which were very close to the 1st floor, where the night club was. we had some difficult night sleep throughout our six-night stay. i certainly do not recommend the hotel for conservative families. besides, while the internet service is free across uae, the hotel charged us aud 20 for three hours, which got disconnected every few minutes! very frustrating!
Shopping Tip:
Dubai is a shopping Mecca! There is more than the mind can imagine. However, the best time to do this is during the Dubai Festival Shopping period during the winter season, where every single shop is on sale.

the sevice was very good & efficient. however, our room was on the 3rd floor, which was just two floors above the night club. this resulted in awful night sleep. besides, the internet connection is very poor. we paid aud20 for three hours, but did not enjoy it for a second, as it was terribly slow & kept on getting disconnected every few seconds.
Shopping Tip:
Dubai is a shopping mecca! The best time for this is December-February.

Really impressed with hotel value for money

The Versaille Hotel appears to not be well known by taxi drivers however I think this is more about taxi drivers having to ensure they have an income rather than knowing where the hotel is! It id 10 dirhams away from the Diera shopping mall. |I think this hotel was great value for money and the staff are very conscientious.
