Not reccomended!
We werea family of 4, paied in advance for 2 rooms. We arrived at a rainy night. At first they gave us two "rooms" at the top floor - filthy, bare concrete floor, no door for the bathroom, but most of all the walls were soaked with water and the floor flooded. The bed were dry (at that time), but there was no way to get there without steping into puddle. We demended another rooms, and after long argument we got one dry (though filthy) room at the second floor. We staed there 2 nights, the four of us sharing 2 beds (~1.2m width each), despite the fact we pre-paied for 2 rooms! On top of that- they claim to have breakfast served until 8:00, but on 7:30 they told us that breakfast is over...

Poor hotel in good location

Location close to the park entrance
On our arrival, we were welcomed by a friendly young english speaking man we didn't see again. Later on, only chinese speaking personal was there, though understanding would have been important. Bathroom installations were mostly defect: Damaged shower hoses, water poaring out on the bathroom floor from under the bowl for washing or even from under the WC (including excrements). In one room water ran from bathroom into the sleeping room below the wall, so that the carpet was constantly wet 1 m large. An advantage were heatable blankets in the beds that mostly worked in the cold nights. Nevertheless we can only discourage from booking this hotel.

not a hotel, just a very expensive hostel

Migu is not an hotel but is a very expensive hostel. Just like the sign on the building says. There no english speaking staff. Rooms are not cleaned at all.

Bad experience

Location, polite front desk
after 15hrs terrible traffic jam journey from chengdu, arriving at 10.30pm was a totally disaster family room awaiting us ( together a 65yrs old mom) despite months prior booking, paid with remarks for a clean standard room preferrably at lower ground. even called on that day to reconfirm. the family room is on 3rd floor by unstable stairs with insufficient lighting, broken floor and cabinets, heavy dust, 2 single beds with stainned & untidied bed sheet, a double bed under low roof that one can't stand up straight and a bathroom without light, exhaust nor window. worst of all, guess what is awaiting while i opened up the toilet seat cover. gold! that's it, we requested for refund and moved out in mid-night of mid-autumn. seriously doubt if they even clean after the last check in. the front desk young guy is somehow polite, and promised to refund us once they receive payment from agoda. till now, still waiting with follow up to them via email. will i ever get back the refund ? ... will update if refund receive.... strongly suggest they should immediate stop issuing out the family room, as it is absolutely unacceptable although under hostel standard. upgrade to the room is a must including its cleanliness!!

helpful staff but EXTREMELY DIRTY ROOMS

close to Jiuzhaigou park entrance, helpful staff
everything is ok about this hostel (since it is a hostel and the price is appropriate), except the rooms. they are extremely dirty. the bathtub was leaking, so it smelled like you know what in the bathroom. a lot of rubbish on the carpet, they don't seem to have a vacuum cleaner there, or they simply don't use it. same about the bathroom - they do not seem to use any kind of detergents. unlike the rooms, exterior and front desk are very nice. staff is English speaking and really helpful when it comes to some travel arrangements. but when we tried to change the room, we found all of them like i wrote above.

Friendly staff

It is close to Jiuzhaigou
it took us 20mins to walk to the jiuzhaigou. it is easy to go to the hotel by the airport bus, but it is so far away from the airport. it takes about 1.5hrs to arrived the hotel. the staff is so friendly. the room environment is not very good but acceptable.

Cheap and convenient

Great Tibetan souvenir shops and restaurants on the same strip!
Walking distance from Jiuzhaigou national park. Taxi drivers also knew the name of this hostel. The people at the front desk were extremely friendly and helpful. They spoke basic English. The only downfall was that they came in to clean our rooms at 6pm when we had checked in at 12pm. We waited 6 hours for a more substantially clean bathroom and swept floor. Overall it was nice to stay somewhere in close proximity to the main park. I think this hostel is best for university students looking for cheap and comfy accommodation!
