Good Central Glasgow Hotel
Excellent position to explore Glasgow, nice big room well located to visit the centre of the City. Breakfast not so good and not such good service for Breakfast and limited choice and slow service. Easy to not pay for Breakfast and walk nearby where there are many nice coffee shops

Poor service
The main problem was the very poor service in the restaurant. On one night we booked a table for 7.30. At 8.45 I had to go and find a waiter to enquire where our food was! It was very quiet and we think they were VERY understaffed. Although we had a club room for three adults there were only two towels and the third bed was a basic and uncomfortable z-bed. Air conditioning not working in room and windows unable to open far. On the bright side the location is excellent!

Insanely perfect location and friendly staff
We were upgraded (complimentary) to larger rooms and they were huge. Bed is comfy. Staff is excellent. Raymond is an absolute gem - a combination of porter and concierge, he's not just helpful - he does it with kindness and a twinkle. Breakfast was the same every day, but it was good. Bacon, sausage, blood pudding, eggs, beans, mushrooms, yogurt, fresh fruit, cold cuts and an assortment of breads. Downside - very poor wifi in rooms, and rooms are a bit stuffy and over-warm, but we took advantage of the fan provided and it was fine. Location is absolutely perfect. Next to Queen's Station and the hop-on hop-off bus tours start practically outside the door. Went to the Corinthian Club for afternoon tea (recommended!) and it's 2 blocks away. Walk to the cathedral and cemetery - or to style mile. Everything is close and many, many food options nearby. Can recommend Jamie Oliver's across the square, and also the Italian place across from Greggs. Would stay again in a heartbeat,

Could do with some upgrades...
The funniest thing was a whole in the middle of my desk, covered up with the "rules & regulations" notice of the hotel. The room itself was a bit tired, facing out onto a courtyard of some kind, full with operations equipment.

Excellent... Highly recommended...
Very good location. Hop on hop off bus is just a few steps away. Very near shops and restaurants. Breakfast buffet is good but I hope they change menu every other day -- it's the same food everyday .... Rooms are big / spacious and very clean. Staff are very accommodating and helpful. I just can't think of any negative comments 😊

Great location, huge room, so-so breakfast
Location, room size, cleanliness
This hotel is within a 5 minute walk to the Buchanan Shopping Street, the bus station, a Sainsbury grocer and post office. The location is superb and the room was huge! I got an executive room and you could almost have a 4 people yoga class in it and still have space to walk around. The rate I got included breakfast, which was alright. For the price I paid, I expected more breakfast selections and food of a higher quality. However, they had the breakfast norms: scramble eggs, tomatoes, black pudding, bacon, pastry, yoghurt, cereal. They didn't have other stuff like smoked salmon, waffles, bottled jams etc. I would stay here again though, because the location and the room-size was better than expected.
