Hanoi Star 3 Review

What I like best in staying in this hotel is the location. It is very near the tourist spots, restaurants, and shops. The Second thing I like about this hotel is the employees. They were very patient with us. The rooms are also spacious and it has the basic ammenities. I could say everything seemed perfect except the first night when we arrived. Nobody picked us up at the airport and we had to wait 4hours at the airport. But I guess there was a miscommunication between the hotel and the driver that was supposed to pick us up. The driver didnt post my name but he posted another name of another passenger. I knew this because the other passenger became our friend later on.

Perfectly just right in the heart of the city

reasonable price and room size
Hotel is just a little above average. The room size is enough and clean. The location is perfectly situated at the tourism sites. The hotel receptions are friendly but a little lack of full knowledge about everything the guests need to know. The food is not that satisfactory for me. But to be fair, the hotel is suitable for stay and above average.

neat rooms andwelcoming staff

Nice Room, double glazing; so quiet. Helpful staff
i dont have much to add as i was back after 2 weeks. the room was nice and they were ok about a late check out. one problem which was no fault of the hotel; the hotel did not get confirmation of my booking for 6th sept; so they thought i'd not paid. problem resolved ok

good Value and quiet in a busy city area

Nice Room, double glazing; so quiet. Helpful staff
The Hotel Star 3 (as opposed to 3*) is quite nice; and small with a cute room with all the trimmings inc 32” TV a/c, minibar, tea facilities, Internet all for $22 per night. Its right in the middle of the Old Town; which doesn’t seem as crazy and noisy as I had been led to believe. There were a few electrical problems with the lift not working on floor 5 and I was locked out of my room for a while when the electronic key failed. The helpfulness of the staff more than made up for the problems. I will be staying there again at the end of Sept 2012. The free wi fi was good. The breakfast room on 8th floor has impressive views

Service with a smile

Friendly staff
The staff are friendly n flashing a smile always. From check-in to breakfast to check-out. The room has a computer! Handy! I dont have to squint at my mobile screen. By the way the hotel has elevator, though not listed in agoda. Downside? No hand towels provided in my room. Limited breakfast menu.

Great location and big rooms

Friendly staff
The owner greeted us by name when we arrived and offered us a lot of information with maps and how to find what we needed around town. The room was also very large with comfortable beds. The staff helped with storing our bags during our Halong Bay trip and reserving a room for our return.

Nice hotel, great location

Good value for money
this is a lovely hotel with nice staff and good location, near the center but not crowded with traffic. rooms are small but comfy and quite clean. breakfast wasn't good though - you can choose from only bread with eggs and beef noodles.
