the breakfast is really really terrible.
easy access to public transport, near shopping area, not noisy
Basically is ok to stay but the breakfast place and environment is very very bad, the food is even terrible. I notice there are actually got 2 place to having breakfast, but the hotel didnt inform me about this. I feel a bit disappointed . Hope this hotel can provide better food and better place for people to have their breakfast and not like pasar malam . I suspect the breakfast not finish , they gv again in next day cause i stay there for 2 night and breakfast all same . especially the pau look like yesterday one.

Too bad
The worst hotel I've ever stayed in
Really bad, people are impolite, they never speak in english, there's no hair-dryer in the room, the house-keeping people said that they only have two hair-dryers each floor, so all the guests have to queue up for borrowing a hair-dryer, such ridiculous!! The breakfast is so badly innecdible, the chinese style bread every morning, never change go with soya milk, same, every morning never change, the bread is so hard, when the waitress saw me tear away the skin, the upper part of the bread away before I ate (coz the skin of bread was really too hard to eat) she blamed on me said that I shouldn't waste food!! Such a crazy hotel with disaster services that I have to say.

Good Location - close to everything
Clean and spacious rooms
More English speaking staff
i stayed only for one night. the hotel is not far from the railway station. being on one of the main streets, it was easy to find. hailing a cab was also not a problem. the breakfast lounge is reasonable and the staff was very helpful. room amenities were satisfactory. overall good value for money. i will stay there again on my next trip

Reliable and convenient
Reliable and convenient hotel. It's a all in one place. There is massage and spa, opposite is a famous club for the hippie crowd. Room is very spacious and comfortable. Staffs very helpful as well.
Somethings wrong with their lan network, I can't surf at all, was it windows 7 or user problem..

Nice Place
The staff in the Coffee Shop and the Business Center were great!
Not enough English speaking staff. Off the beaten path.
The staff in the Coffee Shop and the Business Center were great! The older guy in the Business Center answered questions, wrote note in Chinese for me, booked train tickets and helped me get a good haircut at the barber shop too! Sorry, I forgot his name. The Mindu Sauna, attached but you have to go around the side to get to it, was out of this world! Great staff of workers and great service.

A short stay at Mindu Hotel Fuzhou
Front office staff are mostly polite and can communicate well with customers. Housekeeping staff are polite and helpful too.
Front desk receptionist lack of politeness and very bad in communication with customers (even those who can speak in Mandarin). They hardly bother to take message despite repeated reminders. Hotel is rather run-down even-though it call itself a 3 star hotel rating. Certainly, it is not value for money.
I wont go back for a second stay at this hotel unless the above cons are improved or changed.
