Nice grounds and pool - average rooms

Pool, location and view off balcony are all wonderful
4.7
Cons - rooms dated, old and a bit dusty, old bed covers etc - it really need refurbishing. One of the guys who owns it/works there is nice but the other one is quite rude and doesn't speak english. They have all these crazy rules like no eating in the rooms but they don't serve food downstairs except for breakfast... so you basically have to go and eat in town (which is fine because it is not a far walk and is a gorgeous town with lots of restaurants with various price ranges and bakerys etc). The pool is just beautiful and there are always plenty of deck chairs, the balcony and view are gorgeous. I think you are allowed to "picnic" on the balcony (bring snacks there) as long as you buy one of their overpriced alcoholic drinks from the hotel bar (they don't even serve coffee though). Overall a great trip but I think the rooms were not nice enough for what we paid, and service wasn't the best - but the location and pool probably made up for it.
