Stay is fine. Kinda overrated. Food is average compared to 5 star standards.. Rooms are great esp the villa that we stayed in

Misibis experience

Friendliness of staff, variety of activities, nice pools
Good experience. The resort is remote and there is only one restaurant in the resorts so there was not much dining choices.

Nice place. Courteous staff.

Courteous staff. Nice place. Nice and comfy room
Limited food choices in the buffet. Takes so long to order a pizza.

Relaxing time in Misibis

The arrangements of the rooms makes it very comfy. The location for us perfect, we´re just living 40km away. As there´s is almost no real and luxury tourism in this region, Misibis is just amazing
Upon arrival, we got a welcome drink and a small amulet all decorated with some music and the smile of the reception staff. The staff was very helpful, competent and friendly. We choosed the biggest 1 bedroom premiere apartment. It was a good choice, as this apartment is very big and has a private jacuzzi on the terrace which was perfect due to the bad weather. Yes the Misibis bay hotel is very expensive, but it is the only luxury resort in our wonderful region and it´s not so easy to establish something like this in Albay, also the maintenance costs in our rough conditions are high. So for us it was worth the money and we will come back

The hotel is overrated.

Location - secluded. You will enjoy the privacy and serenity of the place. ( or maybe because it's off season when we visit). Rooms are big - too expensive 3. With KTV!
The place is beautiful. But too pricy! Crew especially front desk personnel are not properly oriented. Hotel toiletries were not refilled everyday! We spent 4 days and three nights and i guess they only refill the bathroom supplies once!

Great Hotel

Nice ambience, nice rooms and big pool
We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff are super friendly, the room is charming and the pool is huge. Beachfront is also very quiet, definitely a good way to relax and just be away from the busy life. Driving to the hotel area is a challenge though as it is very far but worth it.

A Chill &, Relax vacation

(1) privacy (2) very accommodating staff (3) spacious & luxuriuos villa
I really liked the ambiance of the resort. Since our villa was located near the lagoon pool, the walk to the restaurant/reception area was very relaxing. We were picked up at the airport on time, no hassle and the drive to the resort was very scenic. Plus, our driver was even tried to assist tourists whose van overheated. When we arrived, welcome drinks were available and the villa was already ready. We just has to freshen up and have our lunch. Activities were easily scheduled for the duration of our stay. It would just have been better if the we had our foot washes upon arrival and I was treated to something special on my birthday. Pls. note too that their billing upon check-out deconstructs the invoices between tips, tax and senior citizen discounts. thus, it became harder to double heck receipts.

Won't Miss Misisbis

If you want seclusion, this is the place to go.
Not good. Service was really slow, it took 20 min. for them to inform us that some food we ordered for room service is not available anymore. Some staff really need to be trained on courtesy. My wife needed to get irate before a native bag missing in our room turned up as we checked out. Rates are overpriced for the amenities that they offer. Overall, we expected a lot more from a place that's advertised prominently. It failed miserably.

Undercooked ala carte food

Very accomodating personnel
We were served undercooked fried chicken for our first night dinner. The waiter offered to have it re-cooked. But i declined. I just wanted them to be inform and also the pinakbet was salty. On our second night we ordered seafood platter. Again they served undercooked salmon. And ask them to have it re-cooked. Please assure the food are well cook since we are paying for a cost.
