Good resort but be careful with your valuables..
Villa we stayed in was beautiful. Food was delicious but pricey. When leaving your villa, keep your valuables with you.. my wife's jewelries went missing after we return to our villa from a morning swim at the pool. We filed a report with the manager on duty but not too optimistic that the missing jewelry will be recovered. Lesson learned, dont bring any valuables here.

luxurious get away
The ambiance at Misibis satisfies every tourists longing for perfect relaxing get-away! They have excellent food too! except that they have little variety of fresh fruits. I suggests they put emphasis on tropical fruits, given the fact that we are a tropical country & that's the main reason for tourists to travel and choose Philippines as one of their destination.

Overrated
In the Philippines, we have been to the beaches/seas of Coron (Coral Bay and Westown), Puerto Princesa (Subterranean River and Dos Palmas), Puerto Galera, Boracay (Regency), Nasugbu (Punta Fuego), Anilao (Portulano), Anawangin/Nagsasa Coves, Subic, Donsol, Balicasag, Panglao, Dapitan (Dakak), Dumaguete, Cebu, Daet.. and we were expecting so much from Misibis, hence the disappointment upon getting there. To be fair, they did say that it was a bay, and such a short bay it was. My boyfriend even had trouble trying to get the best frame of their shore in his photograph. Upon arriving and after seeing the beach, we just went back to our room, exhausted from the transfer to the resort, fell asleep consoling each other that the resort had other stuff to offer. They do have very good ala carte menu, and the serving is gracious -- as we found out when they brought the food that one order of their main dish is big enough for two -- we ended up taking our food to our room. The rest of our stay was uneventful as it just rained and the mood was gloomy. They do have plenty of swimming pools, 2 bigger pools, and many other small wading pools near each villas. To be fair, they do have so much to offer (activities), but if you love beaches, then look some place else. If you like watersports then this is a great resort. Their staff are exceptional, although we found some creamer sachets torn by rats near our shower (in our room), and underneath our bed. The shower is good, temperature is easy enough to manipulate. The bed is very good and comfortable. Their internet is exceptional considering their location. The big pools have an early curfew though (7am to 7pm).
