Feel @ home
The location is a bit far away from alona, there is a shuttle though, but should make it more often, or considering only a few guests staying there, they should just make the shuttle time based on request.. The staff are top notch! Very great customer service , they make you feel at home and always try to accomodate your request ( just a bit slow ) .. Overall we enjoyed our stay!!

It's like your own private beach house! :)
We loved Momo Hotel! We felt like we were in our own private beach house and it was awesome! The area is secluded so it is hard to go to Alona beach where all the activities are. Tricycles will cost around 250 pesos! There is a free shuttle that goes to Alona 2x a day (11:00 am and 5:00 pm). We went to Bohol and we only planned to relax and be at the beach. It was perfect because we didn't need to go out that much so this resort being secluded didn't bother us as much. Our rooms were clean, toiletries were organic, and the staff were great! There are only 15 rooms in the resort and during our stay, only 4-5 were occupied. It was truly very relaxing! There is a small pool where you can do some laps. They also have free kayaks and paddle boards for use.

Secluded resort with good standard
Serene location, pleasant staff, relaxing environment
Good hotel, it's a bit in the middle of nowhere but they can arrange for a shuttle with a little bit of notice to get you to Alona or Tagbilaran. Twice a-day it departs for free and the rest of the time you pay a small fee (500 pesos for a minibus). A tri-cycle back to the hotel from Alona is 200 pesos. While the food is good it becomes a bit boring to eat at the resort resto three meals per day every day so you will appreciate the easy access to Alona... Pool and beach are OK, there are sun chairs, hammocks, and a couple of kayaks if you feel like spending the day there rather than going for excursions or down to Alona beach.

Standard room for a night - best place!
Location, staff, ambiance
Staff were perfect - accommodated everything we asked for. Ambiance was perfect - very simple but clean, spacious, very nicely designed, comfortable, and lovely atmosphere. Food and drinks were also not bad. We only stayed for a night, was suggested the shuttle to Alona beach where Amorita is (sister company of Momo) where restaurants/bars are at. Perfect for travelling groups!

Great Escape for Relaxing by the Sea
Clean, comfortable and great service
The hotel is a bit far away from the hassle of the Alona beach resorts. But the hotel does provide daily free transfer to its sister hotel at Alona beach. The Momo Beach House is a great hideaway for couple and also family vacation. The beach is OK for sun bathing or just hanging out, even though the water may not be great for swimming.

Overrated, very poor food and inattentive staff
Free minibus service to their sister resort, which you should go to as it;s much better
We picked this hotel as it was rated as the best in Bohol. So we had high expectations. Unfortunately we found the hotel very disappointing. The worst bit was probably the food and service. The location is remote so you are forced to basically eat at the hotel most meals. The menu was very strange including meals like cottage pie and welsh rarebit. The cottage pie tasted like a tesco value microwave meal, and it took half an hour to arrive! There were very few Filipino meals, instead they tried to make western food, and badly. We also found that quite a lot of the menu wasn't available due to running out of ingredients. They didn't have potatoes for 4 days of our stay. The staff were particularly inattentive. They frequently forgot parts of my order, and seemed more concerned with chatting with each other than actually serving the customers. The rooms were clean to start off with, but the maids don't change the sheets. So we had the same sheets on our bed for 8 days! With the humidity the sheets stank at the end of our stay. The air conditioning was so loud that it was impossible to sleep with it on, and too hot to sleep with it off. The hotel also supposed to have free wifi, but it rarely worked. Several times we got up for breakfast and there was no wifi because the manager had taken the wifi modem into her room. We had one of the worst holiday experiences in this hotel so much so we left a day early to stay in a better hotel in Cebu.

Beautiful and quiet place
The hotel is very clean, quiet and commodious. There is a beautiful and calm beach. We could spend relaxed time.
The hotel staffs welcomed us even though we didn't inform that we arrived very early. We stayed with my baby. We didn't have any trouble with him. The hotel is located in the place far from the town.It was so quiet that we could stay relaxed. The room was clean, cozy and roomy. The beach was calm. We could play with our baby there. We enjoyed staying there. Thank you for kindness of all the staffs.
