Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

We want you to pay the lowest possible rate for your room. If you have reserved a hotel room through Agoda, and then show us that you could book the same room, for the same dates, at a lower rate, that is viewable and bookable on another website, we will either match that rate or beat it. feels like home away from home
the place gives you a "home" feeling, though the price was not cheap
Nothing to do outside after 7pm, peninsula hot springs are about 25 min drive away

Cosy, almost petite, frilly even
Dining setup and cosy lounge room
As is typical of many B&B's these days, Mornington B&B is - seemingly - little more than a typical house in a typical street in a somewhat typical suburb.
Fronted by a large hedge, the perhaps 1940s or 30's house is neatly presented and backed by - so trad these days - another abode. In this case a pair of self contained units also owned by the B&B but which have nothing to do with the main house.
Indeed, the B&B component is the original house containing 4 bedrooms (and perhaps, as it appeared, a separate living area for the owner/s). Three are single bedroom and one a double.
Each carries its own flair specific to its name (I can't remember the titles), and each is extremely well presented with excellent olde world fittings, generously appointed spa en suites. Indeed, our room was very nice indeed with all you could need; albeit a little small. It had a lovely little balcony and nice views.
On arrival you are greeted with afternoon tea in a nicely and once again olde world dining area, with specific tables for specific rooms. Lovely coffee, a home cooked heart shaped mud cake et al. Nice.
Likewise, breakfast is beautifully presented and filling.
My only compliant was that the bed is just a tiny bit hard and I forgot to bring my own pillow (I rarely find a pillow that suits, except when staying in the likes of the Langham!)
Other than this, it was a great stay and recommended.
