Only if there are no other cheep options in Bagan,
In Bagan
All other budget options in Bagan were booked out so decided to stay here. Wished I could have booked another place because this hotel was very disappointing. Rooms were very dirty and old. Only good point was that they let us sleep in a room above the office when we arrived really early from Yangon

Dirty room with poor management
Hotel to avoid ! I am not fussy at all but this is a catastrophe. Bad service, no arrengement for pick up, taxi proposed at a very high price, no pressure in shower, no soap or anything in the room, no water. I stayed 2 nights, the room is not cleaned up, or tidied up. Tv has no channel (they didnt pay the fees, i can send the pic of this if u want). Front desk cant speak english, they give you only a quarter toilet paper roll. A disaster. Bed sheets are not super clean, walls dirty, the only clean thing is surprisingly the ceiling!! This hotel should buy a book : 101 open an hotel. They dont even have the basics.. Sorry for the tough comment but i am already being mild..

Horrible value for money
Late check out no problemBeds were cleanStaff is friendly
I'm not normally complaining, but in our 8 months travelling this was probably the worst value for money and we would not recommend anyone to go there before this changes completely! There were constantly 2,5 people of staff and no one bothered to even pretend having cleaned the room. It was low season, so not busy at all and lots of time to sleep or watching TV in reception area... Why do we get such a dirty bathroom. a mirrow that probably had toothpaste from a year ago on it, stains everywhere. I was so so sad! It doesn't need much to take a wet cloth and clean AT LEAST the obvious. We don't expect luxuary, not at all, and don't care about how old things are, if they get CARED for. It was all so worn down and you could see no one cared about this hotel at all. In the fridge there were 2 bottles of water (1l) the info sheet attached says 2 bottles for free (0,5l). Those you need to ask for and aren't there?!? Breakfast is from 6,9, on your little porch (which is nice) but they set the table at 6 am, so firstly we woke up, secondly butter & jam stand in the sun till you actually have breakfast (which was 9am in our case). I kindly asked to not set the table before we get up tomorrow, they said 'no problem' and did the same thing the next day... Well?!? The staff was nice when we needed them, extremly limited English makes it difficult, but they tried. The thing is in Myanmar we had friendly staff in every hostel but we never had to pay for such a dirty, worn down bathroom. They need to work on their cleaning attitude!! Not to get it perfect but to get it useable for anyone! We travelled a lot in Asia, but this was worst value for money. Until they start caring more , stay away!!

Nice Hotel in a quiet location
Comfy bed, friendly staff, big room
We took the night bus from Yangon and arrived in Bagan around 4:30am, they let us check-in that early so we were able to rest after that long bus ride. We were in the first room and it was closest to the road and hotel lobby but we barely heard anything, the room seals off the noise from outside which was great. The breakfast was a simple set of eggs, toast, fruit and coffee but it was good. The wifi, much like everywhere in Bagan, is slow and unreliable. There is a computer cafe close by but the connection is not any better, my wife and I went there and took 30mins just to open the mail. *There is a travel agency 100meters to the left of the hotel that has reasonable prices and very helpful staff who speak English well. We rented a car w/ driver from 8:00am to 6:00pm for only 32,000 kiyat ($32.00)
