Humble Little Place
Space in the room, kitchenette, convinience store
Had a very good stay. There is no breakfast but a fairly well equipped kitchenette and convinience store across the road so you can shop for your meals. Take advantage of the BBQ outside. Seems like each room has one. Not an easy place to find but once you're there it's ok - next to a pottery shop which is more obvious. Good value for money with a small family or couple.

Short stay in Mountain View Villas
kitchen, cooking equipment, internal yard
The hotel is OK for a not long stay, or for those who rent a car, because it is situated far from Victoria. There are no restaurants or beaches in a walk distance. A great minus is that the hotel is situated right in front of the road. It is that noisy like the cars, trucks and buses are driving at your door. But it becomes almost silent at night. The food shop is situate opposite the hotel, just a 30-sec. walk. The owners are an Indian couple, open from 8 am till 10 pm daily. Advise: ask them to show you the frozen food (minced beef, chicken, meat, etc.), as they keep it in a fridge and do not show or anyhow let you know they have it. We had a big kitchen in our Coco De Mer Villa, with nice cooking equipment and dishes. There was a wide sofa in the living room, our 3-years old son slept there without additional fee. The bedroom is separated with a partition. The villa had its own internal yard, with two tables – one under a flower shed, the other was under the roof. There was a barbeque equipment and a parking lot for a rented car. The bus stop is near the hotel (1 minute walk). It takes 10 minutes to get to Victoria. Wifi is not working in our villa, but near owner's house it works.

Very nice Guest house
Friendly owners, very clean, mosquito-free
We had an excellent stay at the Mountain View Villas. They are a series of guest houses ran by Justin and his wife, Michell. The rooms are new, have A/C, hot showers, mosquito nets (not that you need them), a large living room, kitchette...ect. Considering how expensive everything is on Mahe this place was a steal! That being said the only down side is the location. It is a bit of a ways from the downtown area near the brewery so you would almost have to have a rental car or be very good at taking the bus that stops running fairly early (around 7pm?).

Quit Nice
Very nice private garden area for each chalet; parking bay next to the unit; plenty of space
We really enjoyed it. You need a car, although a bus does pass by, as it is about 10-15 minutes drive to Victoria. The owners are very freindly and making on-going improvements to the property. Very reasonably priced. The accommodation can't be faulted, as it has everything you would want in a self-catering place. But, it is just somewhere to spend a night or two - no swimming pool or anything, and nothing in walking distance.

A beautiful relaxing stay
Friendly staff, excellent villas, all new appliances.
I booked for a two night stay and could have easily stayed there two weeks. The villa's are of a fantastic quality with modern tasteful decor. And the appliances are all new. All the kitchen ware is provided for even the most gourmet of cooks. The bedrooms are large with big comfortable beds. Bathrooms are spacious and a washing machine is provided. But the real highlight is the wonderful welcome and outstanding level of service you will receive. Shirley and Justin made me feel right at home and both were extremely helpful and polite at all times. Thank you very much Shirley and Justin for making my stay a pleasant and memorable one.

good adrees, but you book an apartment, no hotel
Busstop in front
a good adress if you stay longer, clean & a lot of space. you have your own kitchen and veranda, but you are on a main street (noise). no breakfast service, and no shops in the area there are open in the morning. but a busstop is in front. good for a longer stay, but for one night not enough service.

Parfait
