Apartment was spacious and kitchen well equiped. About 10 to 15 minutes walk from the city centre and the ferry terminal.
Lady at reception very friednly.
Free WiFi but it was impossible to connect.

It is a family style and kind of help-yourself hotel. No elevator. The room is clean and ok. They require you to empty the rubbish bin and wash the dish before checkout, or penalty will apply. It's a little bit old and kind of Bali style. I think it would be good for trip with children and whole family.

Surprisingly good for a 3-star

Due to being a 3-star accommodation my expectations were not particularly high, but my room were every bit like on the photos. Spacious, clean, a working A/C, and big windows lighting up the room with natural light. The shower facilities could do with a overhaul though, but for a 3-star this was well above par.

It's not a Hotel, it's an investment Appartment

1) Couch smelt of sweat, unclean
2) Aircon in the bedroom not working
3) No switch nob for the ceiling fan
4) Shower tap came off
5) No chopping board or knife in the kitchen
6) Power failure on 1st night lasted several hours
Sorry but I'll have to tell everyone I know heading to Cairns to avoid this accommodation

Lovely Apartment with friendly staff

We were greeted by friendly staff when we checked in. The staff gave us alot of information about the hotel and Cairns. The apartment was pretty neat, and quite spacious. However, the air con seems to be malfunctioning as it gets very noisy and therefore disrupting our sleep. It is not very near town, probably a 15-20mins walk. However i would still recommend people to stay there as it is value for money.

This aparthotel was fully equipped with kitchen and had access to laundry facilities although at a cost. The apartment was basic but clean with all facilities available. If you have children the pool area was a little small, but the beach was only a few minutes walk away. The staff were friendly and helpful and informed us they are due for refurbishment in the new future. There are no facilities for dining as it is self catering.

this in a older unserviced self-catering apartment.
location is good for those you enjoy walking around small regional cities. dining and shopping locations are in walking distance.
free secure car-parking is available on-site. recpetion is limited hours .... so after-hours check-in is a challenge for inexperienced travellers.
rooms are serviced on a set timetable if there for a long stay. kitchen facilities are adequate - microwave and ample crockery and accessories.
Tip Penarik Perhatian/Pemandangan:
Plan ahead how you wish to use your time in Cairns as there is a wide range of day-long excursions available covering land and sea options - to many to be trying to work out priorities when you hit town. Most will collect you from your accommodation.

just what we were afer. the rooms had everything we needed. private balcony, secure off street parking, basic kitchen, washing machines (as we stayed for 7 nights) friendly staff & great location.
