It was a great stay all in all.
Helpful and attentive staff, proximity to ocean, great view.

It was great all in all. Pros include staff, proximity to the ocean for dives and snorkeling, and the location itself - great ocean view. Cons include getting to the location itself - roads being constructed up and down the mountain, enclosed area (you have to park some ways from the main road and you are transported to the resort proper), so you have no choice but to eat there. Food is fair to good, buffet prices are fair to slightly high, ala carte prices are costly. Overall, a good experience. Reef coast is littered with small amounts of garbage, but source is not from resort, just washed to shore from the outside.

Overall, our stay was good. This is our third stay in the resort. We like it because the kids love the pool with a slide except that there is no lifeguard on duty. The dive center staff are very friendly and professional. The dinner selection buffet was not very good this time but the breakfast buffet selection was excellent. There is no sand for the kids to play in but they enjoyed snorkelling right infront of the resort. There was water leaking on the hallway of the third floor, needs maintenance. Despite this, we will still come back.

All in all, the resort was ok. The only issue is that the restaurant food is very expensive and menu is very limited. The place is also very remote and hard to go to. The road to the parking lot is not cemented and is very treacherous.

A good family resort

We went to dive and picked this hotel based on its reviews. The hotel was nice but the food is expensive. You have to pay for wi-fi. Our room was great with a beautiful ocean view. The dive shop was the worst we've seen. The equipment looked unsafe and the prices were very high. We ended up taking a tricycle down the coast and going diving with them. They had brand new equipment and very friendly staff. Stay at Eagle Point if you want a quiet relaxing stay. If you want to dive go elsewhere.

Peace and Quiet

The hotel is very nice but it is very isolated. We took a bus from Manila to Batangas only to find we had to arrange special transportation to the hotel as while it was located in the province of Batangas, it was very far away from the city center. When we finally arrived at the hotel we were greeted at the gate by security guard armed with a sub machine gun.
Food was pretty good although I think an expanded western menu would be in order.
Internet access is available for purchase but the WI FI is slow during day light hours to the point that it is virtually unusable. How ever it works fine in the evening hours.
No souvenirs available to purchase with the resorts name on it, only standard souvenirs so no reminders to take home from my stay here.
Staff were very freindly and attentive at all times
