Great bed and bathroom, local and Philippines staff is very informative, in-house casino 6.7 I don't have high expectation during my visit to Macau since its 3 nights business trip, but I do hope to have internet connection in the room but the rate was charge by hour and its so expensive , so the only connection available is at the hotel lobby. However after 11pm seating at the lobby the public area cleaner is so rude that asking me to raise my leg so that he can do the carpet cleaning. Later the front office staff came pointing his finger at me and I know he do speak English since he is not local but is that what we call courtesy in hospitality?

Pelancong solo Indonesia, 10 Mei 2013	disappointted,old n smell hotel gambler love this hotel 5 From Hongkong to Macau with Jetfoil, bought the ticket around one way, took around 1 hour, then arrived at the terminal very crowded and saw free shuttle bus of Grand View Hotel and have to wait for around 30 minutes until we finally leave the terminal and heading to the Hotel, i like the view along the way, we can see the bridge, Macau Tower it is beautiful. Arrive at the hotel, welcome by a warm greeting from Philipinos Concierge and Receptionist. The carpet was smell and dusty , pretty old though. No wifi service in the room, only free wifi in the lobby and so many indians surfing through the internet with free wifi, i was wondering how can we enjoy this facility with small space of sofa at the lobby. So i decided to go out and went to Macau Tower by bus and bought the ticket on the spot , take the lift up to the top floor and got twice photo shoot and by the end of the trip, you will be offer to buy your picture and other souvenir on behalf of your picture. Pretty expensive . After that heading to St. Marlo area, which is perfect timing, took the bus again and arrive there at the evening, lights are on, lots of tourists in St. Marlo, beautiful view, old and historical buildings, local market, branded, local food, convenience store, etc and i found the famous Ruin of St. Pauls and it is beautiful, located right behind Grand Lisboa. Macau is like Asia Las Vegas with all the beautiful lights at night, Casinos everywhere. I love it. After had sightseeing, i go back to Royal View, it was pretty quiet, and i dont want to spend my night just in my room, so i took a walk and was informed by the hotel staff, that there is a small bar called “Irish Bar” only few blocks from Royal View, it was nice but also bit quiet, met another Philipinos bartenders, both ladi

Would stay somewhere on Macau Island instead, as it is closer to most sights and casinos. Hotel had no options for breakfast. Room was comfortable, and we had a nice view of the racetrack.

Also, Casino just right below the hotek. 9 The hotel is surrounded by supermarkets n local food eateries. The only things is the hotel shuttle bus has to go round the two pier s. Waste alot of time if you are not in the hurry, just take it as a car ride. Can take a cab to 大三芭 ,it costs Hk $45/- about 20 mins to reach there. Is a shopping paradise place. All the famous cookies are sold here. 钜记饼家. Wil be back to stay at this hotel again.
