This hotel is like entering a London Royal Palace. Beautiful antique style decor. Attentive staff. English speaking staff. Romantic evening atmosphere with grand piano background music. Short walk to shops and a local McDonalds.

It was just okay
The hotel needs renovation, the bathroom doesn't flush well, but for the money it is of good value, feels grand, luxurious.

It is not a Howard Johnson anymore, average Hotel

I was very surprised upon arriving that the Howard Johnson I booked,was not a Howard Johnson :-) The management changed and is now a local chinese one. It still looks like a nice hotel, big rooms..just not as clean as you would expect. in the shower cabin was fungus and the floor was not vacuum cleaned well..on the other hand, i paid a very low price for it and only slept for 2 hours there in 2 nights, so i cant really judge more..
