A nice hotel
with many swimming pools, and conventinet for living

I have lived the resort for 3 days. I like it. The facilities are new, and adequate for families with children.
However, the service should be improved. Front office is somewhat inefficient.

Huge Hotel- not so personal
nice pools, comfortable rooms

This hotel is not for anyone who likes a personal, intimate feeling hotel. It is really nice but one of those monster 300 room deals, so expect to be sharing the pool along with many others. We only stayed a night during transit but the room was clean, comfy and it is well located.

good hotel for the money

this is a good hotel if you dont care about service. the rooms were nice, except the pillows!!! couldnt sleep very good. the breakfast was ok. and they had a fitness centre. good for a 3 star hotel. but what really sucks was their service!!! they were nearly retarded. it took maybe 20-30 minutes to check out. and what they did in this time was to check the minibar!!!! and when they had checked the minibar they just said "ok, you can go"! without giving me back my deposit money for the key.i was the one that had to tell them that i wanted my money. i think that is a try to steeling!!!!! very unproffesionel!!(obs i paid half the money of the stay, if it would be normalprices i would never stay there)

Nice rooms not at but near the beach.

We spent two nights here during high season. The room itself was large and very nice and had a balcony. It's a large hotel with a couple of swimming pools suitable for sun lovers and people who rather stay in the shade. Location is okay, within walking distance from the beach and close to restaurants and shops.
One downside: the many Russian guests. At breakfast, they behaved like they had not had anything to eat in years. They piled food high on their plates, sat down at a table, ate half of it, pushed the remaining food aside and went for more food, and after that even more, only eating small portions of it. A huge waste. The breakfast buffet should be set up in such a way to make this impossible.
At night, many (Russian) guests were shouting and slamming with doors, depriving other guests of their sleep.
We probably won't stay again in this hotel.

Newer hotel with nice grounds and big clean rooms
Newer, lots of pool area, looked kid friendly, large buffet brakfast, easy to get a massage, well priced

This hotel is nice. It is quite large with many different pools. The grounds are well kept. Our room was new, clean and nicely decorated. The food was fine and well priced. The swim up bar is fun. The location is ok, although it is a 10 minute walk to the beach. It would be easy to take a took took if you wanted to. My biggest complaint about this place was the staff. They seemed very confused about everything. If was hard to get any kind of help from them. Im not sure if it was a language thing, but I had trouble getting a straight answer for anything. Anytime a would ask a question from anyone I would get a blank stare. The massage was nice. If they can improve the staff, it would be a fine place to stay.

i've stayed in lots of hotels during my travels in thailand over many years, and my prefernce is for 'boutique' rather than 'corporate'. the sea breeze definitley falls into the latter!
it's not so much a case of the hotel being the issue, more the management. let me elaborate: there are signs everywhere telling you to "not sit here", "don't touch this or that", don't feed the fish", don't eat food here (or be fined, yes fined!!, no entry - cctv (lots of those), staff only - yep cctv!...and on and on the signs go. what really, really put a tin lid on it all, given that i booked and paid in full online, was the absolute insistence, no, demand for 3000 baht on check in as a deposit for the room. and when you get to the room there is a list of the cost of everything from an ashtray to the tv to a glass, should you damage or break anything. and what's more, a massive premium is built into these prices. a glass for example, costing no more that 25 baht is priced at four times that figure. it is an insult and not at all in keeping with a welcoming, customer focussed hotel. and talking of customer focus - there isn't any - to the majority of the staff, customers are an irritation to the smooth running of their day!!!
finally, the place is mainly geared for the russian package holiday market they may well accept this high handed, overbearing and dictatorial management style. and if you too welcome this then you'll get on fine - i don't and as a result didn't. there are many, many, many more fabulous hotels available that are run by owners and managers who genuinley welcome you, want your business and charge far less into the bargain!!

Terrible service, rude staff - stay away!

At all times during our stay the staff were terribly rude - from check in where they demanded a THB3000 bond (as opposed to simply taking an imprint of our credit card), the baggage crew who did not assist us with our bags but hung around in our room to receive a tip, to accusations that we had taken a cup from our room which incurred a THB500 fee (even though we had not). To round out matters, if you weren't at breakfast during the first hour of service, you ended up with either cold food or none at all.
Terrible experience - do not waste your well-earned money at this hotel - go elsewhere!!

great location
good access to shopping,dining& the sea!

the stay was enjoyable,the upgrade on the first week was great,good value for money,in total...the negative side of it was the breakfast...very few choices of dishes everyday,we stayed for 2 weeks & had 3 same type of fruits for the 2weeks!!(pineapple,watermelon,papaya.)
