Pros:
- Very good view and surrounding area
- Staffs are very friendly and helpful
- Fast Wifi (only available on the lobby)
Cons:
- It is expensive
- The room is not that big (we are a group of 5 people and the room is too cramped)
- The toilet is smelly

It is located by the river with river view and mountain view. Walking distance to Byodoin Temple, a UNESCO heritage. Uji is the capital of green tea of Japan, varieties to choose from and many tea outlets to learn about the art of drinking tea.
Very peaceful indeed and refreshing to walk around the river with temples to see, desserts shops, very old pottery establishment etc.

Difficult for English speakers. Very limited on when and what they serve to eat. Don't stay if you expect an English breakfast or room service. Internet only in lobby.

I love the stay. The river view with Sakura is very beautiful. The room is Janpannese style, and big in terms of Japnese standard. The restararants in the hotel are good.

It is an amazing experience to stay with this hotel. The room is so comfortable with a very beautiful river view. It is a very Japanese traditional hotel which matched my expectation .

The hotel is beautiful, but it can't buy anything near the hotel. It's too dark to walk around at night. WiFi is only in the lobby. So I suggest people can go to the hotel at night and have breakfast in the hotel.

Great services, host speaks English... And I love the owner Yamamoto-San's great hospitality.
Tip Restoran:
Should definitely try their tepanyaki restaurant, their beef is from Kagoshima... And should try their great soju drink with soda water
