bit disappointed by the air conditioner exhaust locations on the roof outside the room. Couldn't sleep very well due to the noise.

Great staff and quaint hotel.
Staff was amazing and the location is a 10 minute walk from a major shopping mall.

The only thing that should be mentioned is that this hotel is situated in a Heritage Listed building. This means that the rooms are lovely and have a real atmosphere about them, but due to the historical nature of the building, they are small and there are no elevators.
Other than that, all amenities were neat, tidy and confortable, the staff were great and the location ideal for easy access to the city.

The Mercure Canberra is in a great location. Parking is easy -and free! Rooms are clean & comfortable. Lovely grounds and great eatery attached. Having breakfast included means the price to stay here is very reasonable. The only thing lacking is a pool - especially as we visited in such a hot day!

Great Location room was not what i expected

Staying two nights in canberra to see friends & shopping did not like no lifts had to carry bags upstairs lucky I am fit. The room was a view of the roof ( no outlook ). When I showed my accor club card no discount for breakfast where novatel honour my card. Beds were good pillows too hard. Dinner ordered to room was cold not nice. Will not be staying there again !
Tip Penarik Perhatian/Pemandangan:
War memorial is great to visit so much to see and you need at least 2 days to look around War Memorial. Shopping is great at the Canberra civic Mall down the road from the Mercure .
