Overall we enjoyed our stay, although we were disappointed with some of the facilities. The room was small, especially the bathroom and we thought the restaurant was overpriced, most noticeably the drinks. We were very impressed with our massages - they were the best we had during our holiday.

Lovely hotel but not quite perfect

Overall, our stay at Momosa was great. The staff were friendly and moved our room without issue when we were disappointed about not having a sea view. The balcony turned into our favorite place, especially the Jacuzzi-bath. The Thai food in the restaraunt was excellent, but I wouldn't recommend the Western mains. The location is quiet, which is relaxing but left us reliant on the resort restaraunt. We had problems with the air con, a discintigrating balcony handrail, and totally flat bottle of Prosecco, which was disappointing, but dealt with fairly by the great reception staff. We enjoyed our stay for two nights, but after that we found ourselves wanting a little more life.

Great comfortable hotel with a nice beach access

Great charming hotel located in the north of the island with swimming pool and beach access. Room was very comfortable and Jaccuzzi was the best experience. The hotel is far from everything you need to rent a scooter (250 per day). There is a 7/11 not far which is convenient. The hotel provide not good condition bicylce but enought to explore the surrounding. I recommend to eat outside the hotel, just a minute outside, it is cheaper than hotel and it was good. There is a daily free shuttle to Chaweng which was good if you want to escape from the hotel.

This charming hotel was just what the doctor ordered after 10 days of island hoping. Samui is truly lovely. Mimosa sits on a stretch of private beach. There are two restaurants walking distance and a coconut and beer stand right close by.
The rooms are super clean and comfy. The staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful. The staff by the pool not so much.
Tip Restoran:
Travel a bit to the main strip for better food and better prices.

It is a nice resort with a nice beach and clear water. The room is nice and big we enjoy the quite night around the resort and watching the sunset in the evening.
Tip Ciri-ciri Hotel:
needs more lighting around the landescape at night.

We have just left this hotel. Have never experienced such a bad service at a hotel in Thailand before. They speak very bad english. There is a woman in the reception, who has such a bad attitude.... we had a discussion about the bill for over 2 hours, because we had to pay for some food from their restaurant, which was so bad - dry bread and chewy steaks !! the cleaning was not good either. One day they forgot to leave toiletpaper, the other day towels. Their bedding/pillows smelled bad - had to ask for new ones - their wardrobe smelled moldy. The beach was stony, and there is a lot of seaweed.

Quiet, cozy hotel with great service

hotel and facilities were great, staff were friendly and helpful. private beach is very nice, specially while enjoying a great tasting mai tai from the bar at sunset. breakfast selection could be better. disposable slippers could be an added benefit.the lifeguard on duty was very friendly and always happy to assist. looking forward to our next stay at mimosa.

San Remo pizzeria and lounge just few min away, great food

Quaint, Quiet, Charming rooms by the beach.
The location - perfect for honeymooners!

A perfect Honeymoon getaway away from the noise and bustle of the City. Perched besides a cute little beach, this resort offered us a quaint room with a jacuzzi and a lot of peace and quiet.
The service wasnt great and the food wasnt anything to write home about but the overall package was good.
The hotel had mopeds for hire at reasonable rates.
Mimosa is the perfect location for a laidback vacation - Pack a good book and a camera and you are sorted.
Tip Penarik Perhatian/Pemandangan:
Do rent a bike - for an Indian reading this review, its as easy to get a bike here as it is in Goa. You can explore the island by yourself if you were mobile.

koh samui is truly something for people who love the sea and the beaches. there are places just like the mimosa where you can enjoy all this in silence.
too bad that is given in the disposal kohsamui too little observance the tourists not only bring good things with.
