We arrived to Ocean Breeze and weren't disappointed. I thought the place was better than the pictures- We had our room directly across from the pool- and another 20 steps to the ocean- can't beat it! The dining area and bar were so beautiful with all the lights and lanterns- at night some tables were set up on the beach for dinner- very romantic- although I was there with my best girlfriend:) We stayed for 3 nights and so glad we did! Our room was gorgeous- beautiful bathroom- like an outdoor oasis- with stones lining the bathroom floor/shower area- All the staff were friendly and so welcoming- The breakfast buffet was amazing! omelet station, fruits/cheese platters- thai dishes as well....really delicious every morning! So glad we had that included! Massages right on the beach (in a small hut that looked out to the ocean)
The hotel was located about a 10min walk to the main street with all the restaurants/bars/shops were- there were a few quiet bars/restaurants directly across from the hotel as well. If you walked down the beach several massage huts/bars and restaurants lined the beach that you could go to as well. Really nice beach- great for running/morning walks- clear water- MUCH better than Phuket which i wasnt impressed with at all (specifically Karon beach)
Ocean Breeze seemed to be right in the middle of it all- in a perfect location. A beautiful accommodation!

Expencive but worth it.

We appreaciated the short way to the beach and the swiming pool (a little small thoug) and the staff was very friendly towards us.
The bungalow was nice but the back was facing another bungalow's back and with the batroom windows just covered with fly stoppers, it was easy to hear that the neighbor had gass in his stomack. The first bungalow we where offered I refused to take as the smell of nearby restaurant toilets was overwelming outside the door.
There where incidents with extreamly dirty water in the shower, toilet and sink. I assume this is from soil as it was not smelly.
The breakfast could use some more attention and be open for longer than 10:00. It's hollida
Tip Penarik Perhatian/Pemandangan:
try to eat at the lockal thai fondue called mukada. it's really an experience and all you can eat for about 120thb. if possible try to get a local to help you. it's not always easy to understand what to do at the mukada.

No more/less than what you would expect
Nice clean rooms, very friendly staff, nice bathroom, close to the beach, cheap massage

all in all a recommendable hotel owned by germans. the hotel ranks as standard (maybe a bit better). typical guests at our visit was families with children. don't know if has something to do with the season (november), but next time i would choose another hotel i know. less tourists.
the only thing i would mention that was not to our liking (not that it effects our overall impression of the hotel) is that all prices in the bar and restaurant was excl. 10% vat and 7% service charge. this gave a wrong impression of "how cheap" the food and drinks where.
Tip Membeli Belah:
Take a taxi to the Weekend Market in Phuket Town (only in weekends). A relatively big market with a lot of stands. Very authentic with a lot of local people, and surprisingly few tourist.
