A poor start and an unpleasant ending.

(1) poor estimation of time for "room ready for check-in" resulted in time being wasted (waiting for room) and affected the day's plans.
(2) poor communication skills of front desk staff.
(3) insufficient manpower to handle peak holiday season.
(4) extreme bad manners jockey (arguing and cursing with taxi driver in front of guests).
(5) no feeling and values of hospitality.
(6) intensive training required on hospitality, service manners, communication skill.

Overall the stay is okay.
Our rooms were upgraded. Pretty good ambiance of the hotel. Staff can speak good English.

The hotel is reasonably priced and the rooms are not the usual limited space. However, location of the hotel is quite a distance from the MTR. You have to walk about 10 to 15 minutes to find the nearest MTR.

Disappointing. First stayed here when my first daughter was born 10 years ago and it seems they haven't renovated since then. Fridge not working, shower faucet exploded. Even the duvets didn't have proper covers - just sheets wrapped around them. Charge kids full fare in the buffet breakfast - which was truly pathetic. Staff curt, intrusive and unsympathetic. A truly '3-star china hotel experience'. Stay at the Hyatt just across the bridge in ma Liu shui it's the same price and 5 times better.

There have many Hong Kong style restaurants around
Grand, many restaurants, gym.

This is a very resonable room rate in Hong Kong. Although it is located in country side of Kowloon, but actually it is very closed to city. But there is not easy for transportation and if the hotel can provide shuttle to MTR or Train station should be conveince for the guests. And too bad they don't provide free wifi / internet in the room.
