Best value hotel

Stay at this hotel for 2 night and found it very comfortable hotel. Checkin for 2 room and they offer to upgrade to family room with 2 room inside. And the room was very big and comfortable. The wifi on room can easly connect for free. If go to bangkok again, like to stay again on this hotel.

A pleasant stay for at a bargain price

I checked in late and my deluxe room was ready and waiting. The room was very spacious with living room, office area, fridge, microwave, however the ceiling was a bit "low" and the tv was in a fixed stand and could only be watched from the living room and not from the bed. The breakfast doesn't have many options, but is enough to start your day. The hotel is a bit of a stroll to Sukhumvit Road and there are sections without sidewalks, exposing you to vehicles, but is manageable. Overall, the hotel was well worth the price and outweighs any negativity. I advise booking on Agoda's website (:

I did not like the hotel.
Loction, free breakfast, internet.

the room was dark. it appeared dirty to me. the view from the room was a parking lot. bathroom very outdated. breakfast somehow boring. we were almost refused the breakfast, because of some mix up. they should have checked first on the system, before coming up tous and saying we are not allowed the breakfast. I would not go back there. after 2 nights we moved to another better and cheaper hotel.

Quite area, large rooms, value for money
Quite location in noisy Sukhuvit area, easily accessible to night life,shopping. Large and comfortable rooms, n best breakfast....loved it.

Royal President hotel is located in the center of Bangkok on Soi 15 just off Sukhumvit road. There are two Skytrain stations (Nana and Asok) nearby and one metro station (Sukhumvit). There is also Makkasan railway station not far away (one station from Sukhumvit metro station) with a direct link to the Suvarnabhumi airport. There were also numerous shopping areas around. The location is generally very convenient.
The hotel itself consists of two buildings. The west building, where I stayed for two days in May 2013, is situated at the opposite side of Soi 15 from the main building (and reception). It is a less convenient location. You need ~3 minutes to reach it from the reception – the entrance is through a car parking. The room itself (Junior Suite) was very spacious with a separate bedroom, and well furnished with two tv sets (one in the bedroom), a refrigerator (with a mini-bar), microwave oven and a washing machine. It also contained a lot of other useful amenities. However I found a number of problems. The room felt quite worn – for instance, I could not close one wardrobe to make the light inside it to switch off. There was an obvious need of renovation. Another problem was that the room had essentially no window. In the bath room the shower was not very convenient.
The breakfast (in the main building) was a classical a la carte, not bad one but not the best one that I had seen. The staff was generally helpful. The hotel is guest friendly.
I would recommend this hotel if you a need a spacious room in a guest friendly hotel near the main entertainment areas on the Sukhumvit road and not very worried about lack of windows. On the other hand if you need access to the area around Surawong road, you will probably need another hotel.

A great hotel and in a central location

The staff where very friendly and we where given a free upgrade to a larger room which was good.
The pool area is a little small for such a large hotel but still very nice.
The hotel is needing updating in the rooms however still a great place to stay.
