Pelancong solo Germany, 28 April 2013	Great location, nice hotel, price too high location, Borobudur, has a pool 7.3 Only stayed for one night and wanted to be close to Borobudur so I could do the sunrise tour. Wanted to stay at Manohara but that was already booked out. Got a 50% off offer which made it worth it, but would not pay the full price for what is offered. Having said that, I am not sure there are many other options. Great that they have a pool. The place is clean but a little tired. The food is not bad but completely overpriced, given that it's rather basic. Also, paid for airport shuttle (too much in my opinion, but had to get to the airport somehow) but that wasn't a good experience. The driver was texting and answering phone calls all the way and driving too fast because he was worried that I would miss my flight otherwise. I would have been happy to leave earlier but because I do not know Yogya I relied on the time the hotel recommended. I arrived with plenty of time to spare, but in this case, they really should have communicated with the driver in advance, especially since they were sharing the amount I paid for this service. (350,000 is too much for by Indonesian standards). To give you a comparison, if I take a silverbird (executive, mercedes taxi in Jakarta) for about 1.5 hours it would cost 200,000 at the very most. So, it's a great location, the place is clean, probably ok for kids, they have free wifi(slow, but still they have it), staff are friendly and it's very close to Borobudur. Definitely ask for discounts.

Chiharu V. Keluarga dengan anak kecil Japan, 17 Mac 2013	Good location to visit Borobudur with small kids good location, swimming pool , food 6 only 100m to go to the gate of Borobudur from the hote. It takes 10 mins to the Borobudur temple. There is Manohara hotel inside the Borobudur park, There is a nice atmosphere and reasonable price, but no swimming pool. I recommend the Saraswati if you travel with kids. There are no nice food/ restaurant around the hotel on foot. Its better to eat at Saraswati or Manoahara restaurant. We could go up to the top of the temple with 2 years old with holding. but should try sunrise tour from Manohara (380K.I Rp) without kids if you really want to see the temple. Sunrise is so so but early morning air and temple is beautiful.

Grand feeling to the entrance and courtyard with largish rooms. Disappointed that only local Indonesian channels available on tv. Food was ok, standard continental breakfast. Staff were a great helping in organising transport, although a slightly higher rate than on the street.
