take bus from taoyuan intl airport 台湾桃园国际机场 to minquan west road station 民權西路站 (taipei metro red line) to tamsui station 淡水站 (taipei metro red line)
transfer to zhihnan bus route r26 (one-zone fare) and get off at the terminal station fisherman's wharf 漁人碼頭. walk approx 15 mins to hotel.
the big hotel signage that lighted up is a great help for us to locate the hotel.
the manager cum driver for the shuttle service (sorry we didn't get your name) has been very helpful and detour to allow us to alight at horb fort to begin explore in tamsui.
hope to come back to tamsui again and will stay at this hotel because i feel so at home :)
i think i would have enjoy the ambiance and the breakfast if not for the loud tourists (nationality that shall not be mentioned) that have to shout at each other when they talk.

Its okay for a nights stay. The temperature matches a cuddling couple during the cold nights.

Basic Hotel with free shuttle to Danshui MRT

This hotel is in a bad location which is pretty far from most of the sights except for Fisherman Wharf. We stayed here for 5 nights.
The staff are pretty helpful but we had a bad impression due to a mistake by their staff for the free shuttle which left us waiting for almost an hour in the cold. The free shuttle service to and from the hotel can be booked via the reception. On our 1st day we called for the shuttle bus our to the station and also made a booking for the last bus back to hotel the same day. The staff clearly told us to wait at the same drop-off location to board the bus. As we were a little exhausted from the traveling earlier in the day, we decided to wait at the drop-off point at 945pm. The shuttle bus did came but picked up a group of 6 passengers with luggages and a couple. The driver told us he wasn't informed of our booking request and made a call to hotel and informed the reception, he then told us to wait at the same spot for about 5-10 minutes of which another shuttle bus will be there to pick us up. Tired and disappointed, we waited patiently till about 10.20pm of which I discovered 2-3 missed calls at 10.16pm from an unfamiliar number of which the person who picked up the phone said that there isn't anything he wants from me. The receptionist then called and told us the shuttle bus did come to pick us up but left after waiting for 15 minutes and the repeated missed calls to me of which i tried calling back a min after the missed call only to be re-diverted to the mailbox.
Tired and angry, we told the receptionist we have been waiting at the same spot but didn't see their bus, she quickly apologized and requested we take a cab back to the hotel of which the hotel will refund us the cab fare accordingly.
We stopped using their shuttle bus to return to the hotel as a result of this bad experience and ended up spending abt NT$150 everyday to return after a day out.

Très bel hotel dans le quartier du nouveau taipei

L accueil a commence avec un coin cafe en libre service, avec petits gâteaux et meme une machine a pop corn. Il y a une navette gratuite pour aller a la station de MRT. Tout le personnel ne parlait pas l anglais mais tous étaient très serviables. Très bon sejour

La visite des quais est un ouest. Très anime en fin de journée.

We loved our stay. The only con is that it is far from city center and MTR. However they provide a free shuttle to MTR which was great.
Even if they don't speak too much English the staff will do their best to help you with everything you need. The room was big, the view was great and the candies provided every day were delicious. Very good report between the price and the service provided. We love it!

Not much to visit around.
It is too far away from MRT Danshui station. We can't walk from station to the hotel. I suppose I can walk on my own along the seaside to find the hotel. However, it is not like this.
The map provided by the hotel showed that there are only two turnarounds before we get to hotel from MRT Station. However, the road is the main traffic way. We had to call the hotel shuttle to pick us up.
