With lovely valley views and a peaceful setting, Mulberry Cottage Unique B&B offers varied accommodation from the Old English suite and French Boudoir in the Garden Wing of the main house to Valley View Cottage - a self-contained cottage in a secluded corner of the rustic garden. The main house is built using the Old Hobart Penitentiary convict-cut stone wall, other reclaimed historic materials, and early convict bricks. This unique accommodation offers free entry to the extraordinary cultural heritage museum on-site at Grannie Rhodes 1830. Mulberry Cottage Unique B&B is close to Australia's oldest bridge and a short drive to the airport. Guests may book with or without the continental breakfast. This property is appealing to older family groups, couples, and independent visitors. Guests will have access to free Wi-Fi and off-street parking.

It was a bit odd

History, location, quietness
The setup has the potential to be terrific, the implementation was a little odd. Frenetic contact from owner/operator although she is clearly immersed in the history of the place. Breakfast was minimal, there was little to no soap/shampoo/conditioner in the dispenser. The cottage however was clean and tidy.

Quaint cottage

Location in Richmond, friendly and helpful resident owner, comfortable
We stayed on night at this B & B and thought it great. A simple but satisfying breakfast supplied. Easy walk to the Main Street of Richmond . Lovely gardens . Historic cottage at same address . Found the bed satisfactory clean and comfortable . Great hot water . Overall for us a great place for one or two nights . Would stay there again
