Fantastic and world class resort

Great, beautiful and breathtaking resort
We stayed at the resort and was greeted with their friendly staff. The place was a paradise and a great place to relax with families. They have a wide variety of facilities!

More than just a 5-star hotel

Staff, facilities, pool
I have been travelling in Asia, America, Europe for the past decade and if this is a 5-star resort, all the rest that I have stayed at should only consider as 4 or even 3 star. This is by far the best 5-star hotel that I have ever stayed at in my life! Great staff, great food, great resort! The resort is so huge that it takes you 10+ mins from beach front to lobby on foot. All the pools and facilities are nicely maintained as you always find staff around working 24 hours through the whole day. The only pull back is beach attached to the resort not really suitable for swimming as it comes with many kalps and seaweed. The money you paid definitely worth and we will come back in our next trip to Bali!

Very Dissapointed

Pools, Soleil Restaurant, Kids Club
if you have 2 children over 1 yr old, beware. Upon check-in, the receptionist charged me extra $60++ for my 1 YEAR OLD BABY. What a silly hotel policy that really ruined my holiday. They are very STRICT beyond belief to the point of being unreasonable. The second dissapointment was the size of their twin beds. It's a single size bed (120cm), which is Below the standard of Nusa Dua hotels. Other resorts I've stayed in have at least a double bed/queen (140-160cm). It's so small even for Asian like me. The Mulia Resort claimed themselves to be 5 stars hotel, but it's totally overrated. The kids club staff were nice, but the facility is not too wow. The pool water was too cold for my liking. Breakfast were another thing that below my expectation. I won't be coming back for sure

Dwaipayan P. Families with young children India, June 26, 2015
Fantastic experience ruined on the last day

Cleanliness, service center and food
Bought 5 nights in Royal suit ocean court, paid 105USD to upgrade, moved to the new room to be told 3 days later that I have to move back last day or pay 600USD extra. That was the deal breaker. All good things ruined on the last day

I was disappointed

Pools, view, food
This hotel was my first picked for Bali but I was disappointed on how they treated their guests. It was just strict overall and not the best experience. They failed to mention that guests who stayed at The Mulia Resort do not have access to all the pools because they are "category 1". The pool by the villa was the only reason why I wanted to stay at this hotel but I couldn't enter because it's only for guests who are staying at the Mulia or villa. If I knew I could not go to that pool I would have never stayed here. It sucks because I paid more to stay here than the Ayana and I did not have access to everything. The pools were very beautiful and if I knew, I would rather pay to stay at the villa or the Mulia than their resort. Every time we go to the pool or dine out/in we got asked to fill out a survey. Also, they only asked the wife to do it thinking she would be more patient. It was really annoying. They should just ask us to fill it out when we leave the hotel. The staff was not as friendly either because they rather watch you to make sure you are not doing anything wrong than make you feel welcome. Maybe because I stayed at the Rimba before this that I had high expectations for the Mulia. To me for the price, it was not worth it at all.
