The art, the room, 24 hour reception
Impressed that our room was ready early, so we were able to check in when we arrived (around 10.30am). Overall, hotel is great, however the gym is tiny and not well set up.

Wonderful Wellington

Beautifully decorated, friendly & helpful staff, great city location.
Had a great stay at the hotel. Loved the "wackiness" of the furniture & decor!! The special 'smokers' area was a treat.

It is still a hotel

Pool facility decent size bathroom and decent balcony
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay with it being in a prime location and a decent view for the upgrade We paid for the upgrade because it was our last few days in New Zealand. 750 for 3 nights approx how ever. The shower fixtures were faulty and wouldn't stay on the holders properly One of the mirror cupboards wouldn't close properly and looked like it was on its last legs swinging off the hinges The spa wasn't a spa. It was just a hot bath. And there was 1 jet pumping out bubbles The hype away from all the art seems like no one cares about the rooms
