No frills. 2 star hotel.

Near night life, close to Central Market, convenience store opposite.
I booked 3 nights with Agoda. Room with terrace/balcony. Was given a windowless room with 4 walls. Reception reluctantly changed my room. First cheaper room had room safe, but 2nd did not. Bathroom still had used soap from previous occupier. For a couple of nights ok, if you have a window. My first and last stay here.

ok place. Fine for the cost. Breakfast basic always out of something early. Great soup in morning tom yum etc. loud if you stay in rooms near the road as 24 hour bar accross the street.

location, that's, it
the location is decent but also is the issue. a couple of rooms deep from the street are very loud and there is zero quality to the windows/walls. you can actually hear what people, who are walking by, are saying if you are in these rooms. couple this with the horns, loud motorbikes and the incessant booming from the bars and disco's around the area and it's too much to get a good nights sleep. you can feel the bass from the clubs vibrate your bed. Also, I was told the brekkie was available from 6:30 am. I made my arrangements to be picked up based on this timing. when I went down to get food in the morning they told me no, it was 7:00 am. I pointed to the sign (that said 6:30 am) and also told them I had asked the day before. I was told it didn't matter, it would be 7am. I should have just gone out for food. it's a horrible....and COLD set up. even the coffee was just at a warm setting. I won't stay here again.

noisy, unfriendly but clean

location, cheap, cleanish
Not really a restaurant, just some bad breakfast in the morning. Staff at the reception seemed annoyed when ever you asked a question. We had to change rooms three times because the business next door started loud music from 7am and went all day. Something again the staff failed to mention. The rooms in the middle were best but had no windows which didn't bother us. The only friendly staff were the cleaners who always smiled and said hello. Overall it you plan on a lot of sight seeing and not much time in the hotel then this would be fine otherwise you can find somewhere better with the Khmer hospitality that we are all used to.
