Great Stay

Beautiful location, quiet and loved the cabins.
Stay for 6 nights and it was great. The hotel was putting in new mattresses so the bedding was comfortable. Liked the rustic cabins and enjoyed hanging out in the main Restraunt Area to read and have meals. Loved the Bon fire at night which was a pleasant surprise and the staff were all very nice. Pretty big selection on food and all was good. You do need to ask for housekeeping to come clean your room every couple of days. I look forward to me next stay. It is a great place for kids just to roam and explore nature.

Simple, but beautiful.

Views, location and cleanliness
Stayed here for two nights. It was incredibly cool at night, no need for air conditioning. It was very, very well signed and managed to find it easily. The rooms are very cool little bungalows overlooking the hill sides. Restuarant was very simple with good food. Khmer food was very western style. Breakfast was pretty cheap. Overall I would stay here again. The staff were helpful, but you had to arrange tours to do most things. One whole day was enough to see most things, unless you want the whole elephant safari experience.

Blissful lodge in Nature.

Atmosphere, people, vibe
Nature lodge is one of those places... It's hard to describe in words, but you don't want to leave and once you do you will always yearn to return.

Great Family Holiday

The location was incredible, the facilities had a lovely rustic charm, and the grounds were a very safe and fun place for our kids to run around.
We traveled to the Nature Lodge during Khmer New Year with our two children and a large group of 5 other families - both couples and families with kids. Everybody had a wonderful time and there was definitely something for everyone. We had 3 infants in our group and two toddlers - the facilities were great for meeting all of their needs. We also had many older kids who loved running around on the grounds and having all sorts of adventures. Food was great, especially considering it was Khmer New Year so supplies were low, staffing was minimal, and guest numbers were high. No a/c or fans but it wasn't much of an issue, even in the hottest time of the year! If we come in April again we may bring along a small fan for the daytime heat but we never needed anything at night. In fact, the first half of our stay we were downright cold. The only complaint we have is that our bungalow had very old spring mattresses that were quite uncomfortable and there were quite a few holes in our mosquito nets. Fortunately, there were minimal mosquitos so it wasn't much of an issue. Next time we go we want to be sure to bring flashlights, a fan, and long sleeves for the evenings. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this lovely get-away!

Beautiful place, khmer staff were great.

Location, khmer staff, quiet and peaceful in the daytime and great hot shower in the lodge.
It was great to get away from the city for a few nights. We enjoyed the location even in the dry season, nice to hear the birds singing. The lodges are rustic and definitely well named as 'nature lodges' . Khmer reception, restaurant and grounds staff were lovely, always friendly and courteous. The place benefits greatly from them. They were excellent hosts. They made us feel welcome as guests in their country. The new owner was there during our stay and seem to value his staff and got stuck in cooking in the kitchen. Would be nice to have facilities to make tea and coffee in our lodge. And maybe small communal kitchen for longer stays? Our mosquito nets had holes in them which didn't worry us too much especially in dry season but might bother other travellers. Also sheets were ripped in places, again not a big problem.
