Small hotel in China Town - Excellent Service

The staff is super friendly. Good location if you want to be near China Town. Free snacks and even free liquor.
We are very impressed with the service from the friendly staff. They tried to get whatever we asked for. The hotel itself is in old building so each room does not have much space. The lobby smells so good and comfy. The room is rather small and does not have much space for big suitcase. Small space to hang our clothes. The bathroom is tiny too. But overall it is okay to stay for one or two nights.

good value of money, free water n snacks everyday

very nice staff, free flow of water n snacks and tea/coffee. clean and cozy
I stayed in quaint room no window(the cheapest price) at room 310. Though a bit small but still bigger from my neighbor's room. Hot water OK. Just no jetshower at the WC. Very helpful staff. For those who never come to singapore probably will be a bit confuse to find the location of this hotel. So u need to stop at OUTRAM MRT. Find the exit sign to PEARL CENTRE. At the end, you go right to eau tong shen street (not outram road), just take a walk, u will see hinduis temple on your right, go across the street to the temple. Just walk few steps more to find th hotel in orange color. I never buy water in singapore while I stayed here. So it's really worth of money to stay here. Hope I can be back again someday

The staff and the bed
We could have stayed in a much better hotel as we checked some out for this price. If it were not for the staff I would have only rated this Hotel as a 1, I have used Agoda previously and was very happy with my hotels. The Naumi Liora was a disappointment and started our holiday off on a negative. I would not reccomend this hotel it is definitely not a four star and very overpriced in all we paid over two thousand dollars for our accommodation which we were very dissapointed with. The room was superficially clean not to the standard I would expect from a four star hotel, the sheets had small tears in them as well as the cover on a couple of occasions when the bedding was changed and the towels mostly were ready to be used for cleaning only as they were frayed and stained. We checked the Naumi Hotel in Seah street and it is very nice a four star Hotel it would be a five except for the street it is in. We are well travelled and have stayed in two and three star accommodation on Occassion which we would rate as better than the Naumi Liora. I can honestly say that this is the first time I have ever started a holiday in tears. We could not have stayed nine nights in the box of a room we had booked and paying the extra was not what we had scheduled into our funding for this holiday. My husband is retired so we are a single income family therefor holidays are carefully budgeted for. The rooms were also not well insulated and only boards on the floors we had several nights were we were kept awake due to the noise from the ro above, and doors were not buffeted so each time someone opened and closed their door it was loud enough to wake us up. Not a great experience

Cheapest hotel for a great value

Location to the best cheap meals, cheapest rate with comfortable accommodations, great accommodating staff
Husband and I first time in Singapore and budgeted $100 for 2 days after our Bali trip. Hotels in Singapore are expensive and many are located on Orchard Rd. We were there to do some sightseeing, learn about the country, and eat all the great food we heard so much about. The best place to experience all this great and affordable food is in Chinatown. So I set my expectations on a 3 star hotel, but with a rating of at least Very Good. This property was exactly that. They describe themselves as a Modern Heritage Hotel. I also chose it because of it's affiliation to other international hotels. Location: Next to the Chintown Plaza (2nd floor Hawker), Chinatown food street, walking distance to People's Plaza and Maxwell food market. We were also down the street from the nearest Hippo Tour Hop on Hop off bus stop. We actually walked from La Pa Sat in the evening and it was quite pleasant. Took us about 20 min. Accommodations: We chose the Quaint room because of our budget and time we would spend in the room. It was enough room to store our 4 luggage and still walk around. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was almost as small as a cruise ship bathroom but clean and modern. The walls are thin so we heard some loud screaming in Chinese down the hallway, but we were so dead tired we slept through it. The hallways are very dim and kind of scary. There wasn't a window, but again we were only there to sleep. Staff: Henny at the front desk was so sweet and extremely accommodating. She extended our check out until 2PM, had our luggage stored for the day while we explored Singapore, then allowed us to take a shower and freshen up at 9PM before our midnight flight home. The room we took a shower in was actually very nice, spacious, and although over $200 it showcased the potential the hotel had. I believe it was called the Porch, because there was a patio door. The bathroom was massive. Very different than our Quaint room.

Paper thin walls, great location

Location, Cleanliness, Staff
The hotel is located right in the heart of Chinatown, which is great as their are many restaurants around and shops are just minutes away. The main problem is that the walls were paper thin and the whole night we could hear people just outside our room walking to the elevator. The rooms are extremely small, but this is advertised in the listing (Quaint). If you are looking for a cheap, clean, and safe hotel to sleep in, then it is something to consider. If privacy and luxury are what you are looking for, there are better options.

Great location, clean and cosy

Location, staff and bedroom
Very friendly staff, very polite and efficient. Reception area very comfortable and rooms fair size for Singapore. Rooms were very clean and had a good sleep. It's walking distance to both metro lines and close to food outlets. Really was a great location which made getting to and from the airport easy and then out to explore Singapore

Overall is ok but not worth

Location, Cleanliness, Interior Design
Few things.. (1) bathroom: bathroom is clean, but no hanger in bathroom, UNABLE to hang any clothes or even towel.. and shower screen is just small piece glass which only separate WC with a small area under shower head, after 10 mins bath, it seem like going to flood.. and the panel cover of bathroom door seem like not secured, feel that it will going to broken after few times of open and close.. (2) staff efficiency: check-in time is 2pm, when reached hotel 2.45pm, still need to wait 20 mins for staffs to finish check-in procedure, even can go into room after that, yet still cannot get room key card (there is another card slot in the card place, so there is still have electrical supply in room)... ard 5pm only able to get 2 key cards which both are totally unable to function well.. (3) breakfast: $300 per night for so called 4 star hotel, yet breakfast excluded... Honestly, overall is still ok, but don't think it is worth.. will not go again
