Sneaky & Rude, but amazing view

The view & spa
If you're wanting an amazing view of the falls, this hotel has you covered. If you want friendly staff, look somewhere else. I did not encounter one staff member who was pleasant. I had a receptionist lie directly to my face about the price we were paying for the room & did not apologise when shown he was wrong. House cleaning did a poor job - rubbish not taken out, champagne glasses left, bed not properly made (pillow missing a pillowcase!) Overall, a very hyped up hotel & not worth the money at all! I expected A LOT more from a Marriott hotel.

Definitely not worth the money

The view
For the amount you pay (roughly $500 per room per night including parking), the hotel was in quite rough shape. You got the feeling they were being as stingy as possible, cutting corners wherever possible.I realize the money was mainly spent on the falls view, but guests should still feel relatively comfortable staying at a hotel they're paying $500/night for! Our main issues were: 1. There was no lotion in the bathroom. Every hotel I've been to that has been 4 stars and above has had lotion. 2. Similar to above, there was only one bar of soap. We had to bring the one we used at the sink into the shower whenever we wanted to bathe. 3. The TV cupboard's magnet was broken so the cupboard door wouldn't close, it would swing out, causing a hazard. We had to use a rubber band to keep it closed. 4. Several stains were found on the linen. Gross. 5. Wifi was not free. $6.95 they were charging. 6. Water cost $6.95/bottle. Overall the view did not compensate for the bad taste we all had in our mouths from being ripped off.

Overrated Hotel

Best Fallviews
Stay was disgusting. Overrated hotel. Old and dirty room conditions, the only best stuff for this hotel is the fallview. The view is beautiful from the room. This hotel is way too overrated. Service lousy. Wifi need to pay at this 2015 era. The worst part is I had 5 luggage with me , when I disembark from my NY-CANADA Taxi, the bell desk saw us, but none came over to offer help. I tip the taxi driver in front of the bell desk to wake up his idea. I pulled those luggage all by myself. The most damaging part is I checked out, they have to inspect the room. What a joke. And I called the bell desk at the lobby to fetch my luggage in my room, they told me 30mins. This hotel 4 star? Nah!!!

Overlooking Niagara Falls

View of Niagara Falls
I booked this hotel mainly for the view of Niagara Falls. And I had no regrets. I sat beside the window at nights and watched the Light Illumination of Niagara Falls. And if you're lucky enough to be there on a Friday, as we were, we got to see the fireworks from our room on the 14th floor. The view of the sunrise above the falls is fantastic. It's amazing. The room wasn't cheap at all. But so worth it. There is a WeGo bus stop a few steps away from the hotel so it is convenient. :) The Filipina staff who helped us was very nice. Thank you so much for your help. :)

Nice view of the falls

View, bathroom
Decided to stay over at the falls. Booked the falls view with whirlpool. Decent room with a great view of the falls. Large bathrooms, and clean. There is a bit of a walk to nearby places, but unless you are constantly going back to hotel you will be fine.

Best view of the Falls

Views, room, location
Really enjoyed our stay here. Views were awesome and made our trip to the US and Canada. Doorman was determined to send us to the other Marriott when we arrived and wouldn't let us offload our luggage until we proved we were staying there! Shame because the first person you meet sets the impression of the place. Then difficult getting a bellman to take luggage to the room. Apart from this, a great stay and would definitely recommend. Do two nights in Niagara if you have the time because it's nicer to set a more leisurely pace to appreciate the whole area e.g wineries, fruit picking, Niagara on the lake etc.
