Nirvana Resort

Quiet, good room and good pool
Not as good as expected, distinctly lacking the Eco feel we had expected. Room good, pool good, staff very friendly -but seats and sun shades too few and ageing -breakfast terrible quality and location -could try harder!

calm, quite, peaceful place

peaceful place, friendly staff
Do not follow Google maps to find this place. Reach in the proximity and ask people. Because it's all wrong in Google maps. German bakery is near to it. So that's another land mark. The hotel is located in a remote place. Hence very quite place. And we were worried about returning to the place at night. Since the roads were dark and nobody would be there. But, everything went fine. Although the roads were dark, when we returned at 2am.. We did not have any incidents.

Good and comfortable stay

Good food; comfortable and large rooms with good view and peaceful ambience
The hotel is good; however the resort is supposed to have a spa. I had booked it for the spa; but the spa was not functional which was a disappointment. Similarly, there was not much to do inside the resort; gym/ spa / indoor games etc were not there

Average hotel located on hill, with bad service

Calm and quite
The hotel is located on a hill with very bad approach road. The service is average and the Restaurant has very limited options. Its far from the beaches.

V. peaceful location,close 2 beach/other amenities

peaceful, nice setting, all other Anjuna amenities close by.
set back less than 1km from anjuna's peaceful and tranquil.rooms/semi-detached chalets or 2 villas are spacious but not flash, with fridge,a/c,fan,shower/and or bath, flatscreen tv etc..wi-fi only works in room if it's not too far from reception.some staff speak very good english, especially in guest relations (blossom) and sam and are very pleasant. restaurant and bar staff service can be trying at times, but not impossible, given patience.ask for room to be cleaned or it won't happen..and if n ur not them why politely and they will attend to it on the spot (lack of attention to detail).i have suggested to gr that all the staff including the management of each department needed some training including in the meaning of "service industry" and then this hotel would be excellent.all nationalities here but predominately russians and indians when i stayed for 6 nights late february. the grounds are nicely landscaped and well tended by the gardeners..ditto the swimming pools..there is a small one specifically for very young children.if you can get a deal for about 3,000 rupees it's a nice place to stay and good value for money.if it's hot,you are more likely to get a breze here as the nirvana is up a small hill. the food isn't up to much other than snacking..something that i told the management..a wasted opportunity, plus all the staff are there but with little to do!there are masses of places to choose from to eat at to suit all palates not far away.if ur english, you will probably be disappointed by the breakfast unless they have done i don't bother with the inclusive breakfast when deciding on which tariff to pay..make ur own choices. all said, i would definitely stay here again if i wanted to be in anjuna.

It is a bit far from the Anjuna Beach

The hotel is isolated from others so it is rather quiet
if you are the first visitor here it must be very difficult to find this hotel without local people's help. it is 1.5 km away from the anjuna beach and it is also on the top of hill. the breakfast is not so nice and amenity and hospitality of hotel is not so high if you know thailand hotels. there is wi-fi but it charge rs100 for 1 hour.

Only saving grace - German Bakery down the road.

Rooms were okay but wouldn't bother returning.
Do rent bikes or scooters as the walk to the beach is pretty inconvenient. Found roaches in the loo and lizards in the balcony. We were a family of 5 adults so we could handle the fact that we couldn't get into the fly ridden pool. Kids will definitely be disappointed! Saying that, the dinner we had was quite good and the staff were always willing to help as much as they could.

Lovely Hotel

pool, breakfast, wifi, close to german bakery
it was a nice retreat from the rest of india. it was set back from anjuna beach so you could have an early night if you wanted without the thumping, but close enough that you could get involved and crawl home after. close to german bakery- we thought one of the best places to eat in the area. the staff at the hotel were lovely and really helpful, but ordering drinks or food could take up to an hour and a half, and we were the only people ordering... weird. also they only change your towels and sheets if you ask them too. but there was also a mix up with the wifi- online it said it was for free and when we got there they told us we had to pay.
