Relaxing and serene

Service was impeccable! The food was awesome! The pool was heavenly!
Our stay was great! The rooms are small and I wouldn't say worth the amount we paid. The rooms were clean but quite small and simple. The pool was amazing but the pool bar closed at 5pm. The restaurant packed us some ice in a plastic bag for our beers and weren't picky when we brought them into the pool. The pool is very big and allows space for all the different people. The beach was beautiful although we didn't go in because it was quite rainy urging our stay. The international BBQ was awesome! It was so worth the 550,000 rupiah per person. The music was lovely and we really enjoyed ourselves. The hotel (and group of hotels) is very isolated and does not allow for any Indonesian culture. There is a free shuttle between the nirwana gardens hotels which is nice. However, all our food and drinks were expensive as we had to eat and drink there. They did offer a discount on bowling which was fun. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and the staff were awesome! We prefer a more central location so I don't think we would stay there again. If you're looking for an expat getaway (at a cost quite similar to Singapore), this is perfect for you.

This trip will be a bit costly..

Nice view, all facilities included and good breakfast buffet
Overall the place is designed for a short stay. Food is definitely costly so do suggest bring along instant cup noodles and try to get the package with breakfast include worth the spread the hotel puts out. You probably would go the kelong where they serve seafood but they try to go the ones outside the resort cheaper by 50 or 60% at least. The pool will only run the spa during the weekends so you don't get the best of it during weekdays. Alcohol is quite expensive so get the maximum at duty free before you get on board the ferry and some juice or soft drinks. They is no limitation to what you can bring for food and drinks. Food is mainly western food for dinner in the resort. If you wanna to get a massage or other spa items go to the ones outside as it will be at 30% cheaper. The shopping area is not much as they are only finishing up the new site but it is still something to do. Shuttle services are very far apart in terms of drop off and pick up so you might need to take a cab back unless you want to wait 3 hours. They will be plenty of people who will offer they services which are cheaper than the ask around you will be presently surprised as sons of the hotel staff have they own side business. They is other activities like elephant rides and horse rides, mangrove ferry boat rides ...ask around. Overall try not to leave food open I your rooms as it will attract ants given the rooms are surrounded by a rain forest. We went just after the haze do it was quiter so busy season is mainly during school holidays. Be prepared to pay in Indonesain ruppear as the new law start in Jan this year.. Money changer is avaliable onsite. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Request for bucket of ice as mini fridge are usually not cold enough. We did enjoy our stay. Hope you will too as long as you following some of my suggestions. And always remember to look around for other prices..

My first visit and I enjoyed it. Peaceful, quiet and away from civilization, it is the perfect relaxing weekend getaway. The beach is beautiful, the jacuzzi pool was relaxing and the massages were great. Many choices of food also from Japanese to Seafood to local kueh kuehs etc Will definitely come back for another visit soon.

Great Stay

Great beach, nice swimming pool and staff
We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days and we had a good time in Nirwana Resort Hotel. Our rooms were in the West Wing and they were both very clean. They had a lot of sports activities like the Flying Fox, bowling, sea sports, etc. They also had a mini zoo. The staff were great and hospitable like Satria in the Reception and also Wendi and Tommy in the Water Sports. Right beside the reception counter was a Money Changer which had higher rate compared with the grocery store in Plaza Lagoi (free shuttle bus from hotel). My kids really enjoyed our staye there and I will definitely recommend this to my friends.

Nice for family bonding. The hotel is clean.

Pool, garden and beach are nice and well maintened. Rooms however shows wear and tear that comes with the age of the structure, like scratches on the bathroom tiles.
Good. Nice pool and shoreline. Friendly staff.
