Gezinnen met jonge kinderen 24 april 2013	Nice hotel that's close to the beach Close to beach; clean, good sized room; not too far from (or too close to) the nightlife 8 The hotel is very nice and a very short walk to the beach. It has a very nice pool and a great kids area that we rarely used but would be good on rainy days. The hotel is about 20 minutes walk from the centre of the nightlife, which we thought was about right. If you are only interested in the beach, the beaches in Karon and Kata are much nicer than Patong. It was about a 20 minute taxi ride from the hotel to Kata Beach.

Location is good, near patong beach and there is a mini mall opposite the beach. A little noisy at night due to the music from Hard Rock Cafe. Not a problem for our children. Didn't try out kids club, pool is shallow good for children. Breakfast was ok, tried to order room service one evening but no one pick up for about 30 mins. Dragged the tired kids to the cafe and food was below expectation.
