Nice apartment hotel, off the strip

Nice apartmentcomplex off the strip. Five kilometer south the strip. Clean big room with TV in both rooms. Nice and comfy king size bed. Slow check-in.
Restaurant tip:
Don´t forgett to visit SAouth Point bufferestaurant, just 1 kilometer from hotel.

Horrible location, too far, no svcs

This place is an extremely feeble attempt at operating a hotel.
It seems to have been purchased recently by people who do not have a clue as to how to operate a hotel.
When told about this, one staff member said:"We're 94 % full, we're doing okay, hahaha(lol)."
Even in the room information guide 'Grab 'n Go breakfast available in the lobby.'
In fact, that means that there is a pop machine, but no food.
The fact is that there is only 1 restaurant within walking distance. The nearest food is available at a small convenience store at the gas station behind which this property sits. There is a 7-11 within walking distance next to the only restaurant in that area. There is a liquor store right across the street, though.
On the 3rd day, the cleaners did not bother to empty a small garbage bin.
On my 4th day there, the maids ran out of bath mats, so they substituted a bath towel.
There was no internet plug in my room at my desk, so I was forced to work from the couch. Maintenance was sent up twice to check out the problem, which was solved by the first maintenance guy.
The carpet between the kitchen and living room was torn enough to be able to see the underlay. It looked like it had been chewed apart by giant rats.
Tip:
do not stay here unless you bring your own car, pots and pans, and do not need to go to the strip or the airport for business.
it takes about one hour, three buses and two transfers to reach this property.

Loved this hotel except we didn't drive so it was a bit far to take the bus to the strip. Other than that, this hotel was great!
Tip:
find out bus options if you do not have a car. order pizza for dinner.

Will not stay in this hotel again

the stay was not very pleasant. first of all, the hotel does not provide any shuttles from the airport and to the strip. it was different from what we saw in the website. secondly, and the most ridiculous thing is that our rooms were not cleaned up 2 days in a row even after we highlighted this to the front desk on the first day! very messed up management of this hotel. we stayed there for 3 nights and only the last night our room was cleaned! and btw, their cleaning are not good at all...they left the dirty plates in the basin unwashed, so you will have to wash them yourself! luckily me and my friend were using only the cups and a plate...can u believe this??? how ridiculous for a hotel! this hotel is not near the strip at all. the only thing that is near is the premium outlet in the south, which is like 5-10mins taxi ride. cost about usd 9.30 to usd 10 to get there. from the south premium outlet, we took the bus (public) to the strip which is usd 7 per 1 day pass. there are no room services in this hotel too. they have nothing...if u want food, you need to order. the delivery contacts pamphlets in the hotel rooms are not updated, so u need to refer to the contacts on a separate paper given by the front desk. you can call cab to come get you too. in conclusion, stay somewhere else for a little more and u will have much better basic services.
Winkel tip:
near the South Premium Outlet. But the North Premium Outlet is much better.

Conenient and quiet
Away from the noise of the strips.

It is away from the busy streets of the main vegas blvd strips. A convenience store is nearby and also has a gasoline station. A liquor store also across the street with lots of selection. It does not hae a casino so it is quiet. If you want to play then South point casino is nearby . It has almost everything, bowling, all you can eat buffet, lounge, and casino. Premium outlet is nearby.

Nice and quiet hotel

this is a nice hotel that has suites. ideal for family travelling. it is only a 2-storey hotel that does have have lift access.
the hotel is clean and quiet. however, it is located about 5 - 6 miles of the strip at the south end. you will definitely need a car to travel around and to the strip. parking is free in this hotel and most of the hotels along the strip.
there are also pizza and meal deliveries menu in the rooms. local calls and toll free calls are free. telephone numbers of taxi companies are also provided in the room.
there is no wifi but internet access is available provided you bring your own lan cable. there is also no casino in this hotel.
Sightseeing/attracties tip:
There are not many attractions in Las Vegas. You can visit the Strip where all the major hotels and casinos are located. If you have time, you can also visit Fremont Street where the casinos are firs built. You can also visit Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam but Grand Canyon is about 250 miles away from the hotel which is about 4 hours drive one way.

Not a bad hotel, but carpet too old!

Not a bad hotel for the price, but the room I received had a strange blue carpet which had three horrible spots in the bed-room. I would not want to stay there in the hot summer because the A/C is in the front room with a very loud and ineffective fan in an adjoining wall. I had to ask four people about how to access the internet, and none of them were able to precisley tell me where the Internet connection was located. Stay at this hotel if there are no other possibilities...

really enjoyed they stay in emerald suites. the rooms were bigger than i expected and very comfortable. will definitely consider staying here again!
