Mooi trendy hotel met luide airco

Bij onze aankomst waren we onmiddellijk onder de indruk van het mooie design van het hotel en de kamer. Prachtig uitzicht over de baai, zelfs vanuit bed, hottub op de balkon, het zwembad en het terras op het dak.... Maar 's nachts werd onze rust continue verpest door de erg luide individuele airco's. Inderdaad, elke kamer is voorzien van een individueel toestel. Indien je je eigen toestel uitschakelde, bleef het geluid van de andere airco's oorverdovend. Temeer, zonder airco was het in de kamer (zuidwest gericht) niet te houden van de warmte. Een echte hel, en geen oog dicht gedaan. Dit is een belangrijk pijnpunt van dit gloednieuw hotel (er waren nog wat schoonheidsfoutjes, maar deze kunnen wel opgelost geraken), waarvoor ze niet onmiddellijk een oplossing zullen vinden.
Andere fouten : geen opbergruimte voor kledij (alles blijft in je valies), het ontbijt (600 bath zonder taksen) was eerder teleurstellend, in andere hotels krijg je meer waar voor je geld.
Algemene opmerking : door de niveauverschillen in de kamer is het hotel niet geschikt voor andersvaliden.(is niet voor ons van toepassing). Door zijn ligging tegen de bergwand het je steeds een vervoermiddel nodig om je te verplaatsen, de afstand tot Kata is niet ver, maar de klim is toch redelijk lastig indien je dit te voet moet doen.
Kortom, trendy hotel met oordopjes. Voor ons nooit meer.

Hotel kenmerken tip:
Hotel is niet geschikt voor gasten die slecht ter been zijn. De gebouwen 4, 5 en 6 zijn enkel te bereiken via trappen - 5 tot 10 min lopen.

Great & Comfortable Hotel
i like the design, You can use camera to shoot any angle of the hotel. the "coffee mama" at the restarant was "Super". The pool is great as well..

This hotel was located at the hilltop, it's not so convenient unless you have a transport.
its just 5 mins to Kata beach,massage center or restarant by car.
I will recommend to rent a car from the airport to this hotel, because taxi fare will be 900b and if u rent acar, its just 1000b for 24 hours... i got the good due 3600b for 4 days...
its good to have a car since Phuket was quite big and the transport was not cheap!

Beware of taxi scam booth outside

Taxi stand outside charge exorbitant prices, and as the hotel is quite remote on top of a hill you have little choice. 300 baht to go to the beach, a 5 minut drive, 1200 baht to go to the airport! That's more than my airfare to Bangkok. The hotel has to provide airport and beach shuttle to their guests for me to come back.

Foto Hotel is a great, hip place to stay
This hotel has a ton of style, the little touches they have added make all the difference. Quiet place with great views.

We loved this place and will stay again for sure. They have got great style, an amazing pool with tons of lounging spots all around the hotel. Really close to lots of conveniences, but away from the hustle and bustle of Kata.

The hotel was nice, but out of the way/isolated

Foto hotel was very nice but found the location out of the way. Staff very nice, rooms were large and clean and well designed. No complaints about the amenities, also pool was great and view of ocean phenomonal.
