Prettig verblijf nabij shopping mall
gunstig gelegen nabij shopping mall, moderne kamers, goed ontbijt
Verblijf wqs prima. Nadeel is de vogelpoep in en om het zwembad.

Awful dont stay here!!!
The cleanliness is disgusting and the service is very bad. Its like they do not care about their guests..

Dirtiest hotel I ever stayed in
I had more expectations for the price tag. Very disappointing. Cleanliness at its worst. Poor maintenance. Staff had no remorse. They were OK with response to awful cleanliness. Food was yet another bad experience. Hotel can't provide a decent breakfast. Worst noisy lobby on floors. Complained of loud music and party in next room at 2 AM. No help by manager. Had to go myself to next room to make it stop.

Svelte needs to improve to judge its name
When you pay and stay in Suite, your expectation during stay must be high. Svelte failed to serve by its name; Suites. I had to wait for an hour for their booking/payment confirmations as I booked via Agoda; 3rd party booking. Later they offered me smoking room as I requested but there was not a single ash-tray in a smoking suite; was a real shock for me. Internet charges are not free and criminally expensive, which you expect in suite at least for free. Even after paying for internet, it was down for 5 hours, for which I have been charged. Almost $12 for each day of my stay I paid for internet with very low speed and interrupted service. Toilet was basic and needs improvement. Concierge service, Food in restaurants were very good. Location is great for business traveler. I don't recommend anyone to stay here if you're looking for suite facilities, travelling with family or business. There are hundreds of better options available around in Saket (until Svelte does renovate their facilities and services).

Not the same Svelte as it used to be before
I came back from Agra and stayed here again from the 6-8 Feb, 2016, because I had already for it. We were a group of 8 people. This time the staff received us well with welcome drinks and good hospitality. The whole group felt good and the room service also improved to some extent. But then, on 7th Feb, not once but twice, I asked the front desk as to what time breakfast would be served the next day. I told them that there should not be any delay because we had to catch an early morning flight. They still said 7am. The next day we went for breakfast at 7:10am and the attendant there said breakfast is not ready yet and starts only at 7:30am. I went back to the front desk and asked again, and front desk said 7:00 am again. So you can imagine how the hotel is being run. Other improvements: 1. Some beds and blankets need to be replaced as they are too old. 2. Frequent electrical problems 3. Staff in front desk are very busy with their heads down working; they need to put someone standing to receive and greet guests in the reception area. That's what all hotels do. In short, this time the stay was kind of OK, but Svelte has still a long way to go to prove themselves as a 4 star hotel.

Not like before...very poor management
location is good
It is not what it used to be before. Very poor management and service. There are many other hotels within walking distance from the mall. You will only spend your time and money fighting with the management for amenities and service. It used to be very good before but not any more. It is more like a 2 star guest house now.

Worst hotel experience
I have stayed in this hotel over a dozen times. It used to be a good hotel with good service. I stayed here in May 2015 for 9 days and it was good. But now, I am here, and to my surprise, I noticed that the management has become very stingy. You will feel you are staying in some cheapy hotel. 1. No welcome drinks. 2. They insist on giving only one room keycard even if you are two people. With a lot of difficulty, they gave me two. 3. The shower hook is broke so they have put a plastic hook to hang the shower. Water leaks. 4. The aircon temp cannot be controlled. 5. No toiletries; you have to keep on asking. 6. Only one pair slippers even when two people are sharing a room. Ask and you get with a lot of pain. 7. You get only two bottles of water; you have to pay for the rest. 8. I ASKED FOR TWO WATER GLASS AND THEY SENT ME ONE. WHEN I ASKED FOR ONE MORE THEY TOLD ME WE CANNOT PROVIDE MORE THAN ONE. WITH MUCH DIFFICULTY THEY PROVIDED ME ANOTHER ONE. 9. No ironing board. 10. No coffee. 11. No bathrobes. 12. Staff don't carry a smile. You don't feel the welcoming warmth. To conclude, it is not worth spending money here. For sure, some change has happened within the management and hence all this stingy behavior. I have to stay again from 6-8 Feb as I paid in advance and I am with a group occupying 4 rooms. But after that, I am never going to stay here unless they really show me they can improve. Every single group member started cursing me for highly recommending this hotel. I do not have time for writing all this, but it is so upsetting that I felt everyone should know.
