I visited this hotel with my wife and son for 1 night. It was one of the most terrible experience I ever had. My experiences are as below: I arrived there by my car and had a warm welcome by the security guard. But there were nobody to carry my luggage inside (which normally does not happen in India) They have couple of counters at the front desk, but at that time there were only 2 staffs to handle all the customers. The room was not in a great shape. The metallic dust been kept underneath the Tv stand was too dirty, the furniture were scattered around, the toilet racks broken. There were no slippers inside the room, I requested the house keeping to provide me the same. I had to wait for 25 minutes and even after 2 reminders nobody turned up. I tried to speak to the duty manager and call the reception but could not get through. I went down to the front desk and asked for the duty manager. I was told by the front desk staff that their were no duty manager or any other senior staffs other than those 2 guys at the front desk.How can a big hotel like The Piccadily, run without a Duty manager. Fortunately in one of the stationary I found the number of the Duty Manager. I called him up and asked for his whereabouts. It was shocking that he was inside the hotel but the front desk staff did not allow me to meet him. Inside the hotel, the sound proofing was too bad and you can easily get disturbed by the noise of their staffs talking in loud voices. In short, I will never go back to such restaurant nor would recommend anybody else.

Air conditioning in the room did not work. Sink had hair in it. The bar had run out on tonic and also kingfisher beer and they tried to charge 900 rupees for wi fi when we could not even get on to the Internet. Not like any 5 star hotels I have stayed at, the only good thing is the location.
