close to air port playa mall
This hotel ist very close to the airport and a big shopping mall. A taxi to the Oldtown cost from the hotel about 120-200 bath.

Great value with agoda discount!
For a slightly higher cost, you can get a superior room with bathtub and living room. Ideal for young children with early bedtimes! Staff is friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfasts are decent but get there before 9:30 if you want any selection!

Good: Convenient to airport. Set back from main road. Clean room. Bad: elevator existed only from 2nd to 7th fl., cramped inside a security door and a set of steep staircase. To climb with a big luggage was a pain, then do it again from 7th to 8th fl. Thin wall, any sort of noise was welcome to the room.

This place has seen better days. Excellent airport stop-over.
Chose to stay here due to close proximity to the airport. Since we were on a budget, we had little expectations. Service at the desk was alright, I suppose. Not much pleasantries exchanged and quick to hand the room keys to us. The room was underwhelming. Interior probably hasn't seen a revamp since the 90's. Lighting was rather stingy. Sheets had some stains on it. Liked the bathroom though. Looking at old photos of celebrity guests proudly displayed all over the hotel, this place was probably the finest Chiang Mai had to offer at that time. Times have changed, this hotel deserves one too.

Acceptable for the price and location.
Location, close to shops, airport and immigration office.
The stay was fine. The room was quite dated, and musty. Significant hotel noise in the morning. Breakfast was disappointing as the food was cold and many dishes had run out. No wifi in room, was resolved in the morning, but inconvenient at the time.
