Great hotel in the centre of Banff

We originally booked a stay for just four nights but extended it to a week after a couple of days of being in Banff. The hotel offered everything we needed for our stay and was comfortable and quiet. I am surprised by the 3* rating as I thought it was more like a 4* hotel. It's in a great location for people who just want to explore the resort as well as those who want to head to the slopes as the bus stops just outside the hotel next door. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Banff International in March 2013 and had a great time. The staff were friendly and the rooms were great. It was very easy to book excursions and the buses to the excursions and the ski slopes left from outside the hotel. It is rated as a 3 star hotel but I would say it is more like a 4. We had a great stay here and would definitely recommend it.

Good room for the price. In house restaurant not bad. Lack of heated ski boot room a drawback. Short stroll to all Banff's nightlife the highlight
