The modern boutique hotel provides 200 contemporary guestrooms and is located in the south-east of Calgary. The Blackfoot Inn is just a five minute drive from Calgary's city center and a 20 minute drive from the Calgary International Airport. It is in close proximity to many attractions, such as Heritage Park, the Stampede Grounds and Chinook Shopping Mall. For dining, guests have a choice of five different restaurants and lounges. Also onsite is "The Laugh Shop," where guests can enjoy live stand-up comedy. The three-star hotel has been recognized as the best independent hotel in Calgary for the "2008 Consumer's Choice Awards."

Good value priced accommodation in Calgary

Comedy club, clean large rooms, quiet, exercise room

The Blackfoot Inn is fair priced and has several amenities that seem worth mentioning including the comedy club with some big name acts, good restaurant, exercise room. The rooms are spacious and clean and there is wireless internet in the hotel. The staff are friendly but seem a little incompetent. We had to flush our toilet by removing the cover and manually pushing on the float. We informed the staff of this but nothing was done. Other than that, the hotel was above average.
