Very Montrealish. Clean, comfortable and the breakfast was good.
I was pretty satisfied with the hotel.
It was a very charming hotel. Only one block from St. Catharines St. Hotel was clean and the staff was very pleasant. The breakfast was good.
Travel tip : One block from St. Catharines St. Good Shopping, great restaurants. Lots of nightlife.

This hotel is on the busy and central Sherbrooke Street. And it is surprisingly quiet for a place that central. We were there only for one night (saturday) in a room facing the street AND at street-level, still with closed windows (they have conditioned air), it was pretty calm down there.
Staff was knowledgeable about things to do around the city.
Included breakfast is good. Not as good as other reviewers said, but still good. Bread, Cereal, Yogurt, Croissant, Coffee (espresso with $upplement) and Fruit juices.
Room was spacious.
Good place to stay.
Restaurant Tip : You like Indian food? Go for "Le Taj" restaurant. 15 minutes walking. Great staff, Great food, Great ambiance.

Excellent breakfast buffet which is included in the room price, excellent location
Rooms are quite small. The more modern Le Meridien Versailles, which is located across the street, has more attractive and larger rooms.
Chateau Versailles, a vintage hotel located on Sherbrooke, is very good value for the money. The hotel is an older building without elevators but the rooms are attractive and have very comfortable beds. A lavish breakfast buffet is included in the price of the room. The location is ideal for those wanting to visit the Montreal Museum of Fine Art which is located about 5 blocks away, also on Sherbrooke. There are also excellent restaurants in the neighborhood. The staff were extremely friendsly and helpful.
