Warm and well-kept for an older building. Excellent value for my money (and this is coming from a student!). My friend and I only stayed for one night since we had to catch a train to New York the following morning. The hotel staff was very welcoming and went out of their way to accommodate us. Obviously I can't comment too much on the hotel facilities due to my staying for such a short period of time, I'd still recommend this hotel for anyone visiting MTL on a budget. Centrally located and very close to the Metro/Subway.

Excellent location, lovely spacious rooms. Room was quite noisy at night time due to traffic and general sound from outside. We really liked the location of this hotel. It was a short walk into the centre or you could get the metro if you wished. The hotel itself appeared to be quite secure and safe. The area during the day was just as you would expect for a city. The room itself was lovely. Spacious and light. Even a kitchen there for your use if you wished, although we did not use it. We paid a very reasonable price for car parking (which was underground of the hotel) and we had no problems with this. The one issue we did find was that our room was facing onto the street, during the day this was fine. However, in the evening it became pretty rowdy. This was down to the traffic, music from across the street in another building (it just looked residential), and people coming and going outside. Still good value for what we paid though.
